origin, was taken to hospital from his New York prison late in the
afternoon of October 12. He is suffering from chest pains.
[He is being accused of "terrorism" because he talked to opponents of
regime on telephone. The government has been reading translations of
his phone conversations in the court. It doesn't prove anything except
that he talked to opponents of the Mubarak regime and he is opposed to
that murderous regime.]

"UN SPENT $60 MILLION on
ELECTION" [Peter Bergen]
[It was a well orchestrated fraud -Editor.]
"Talk of the Nation" Program
National Public Radio
Subject: Peter Bergen on the Afghan "Elections." [October 11]
You would probably agree with me that accuracy, context and factuality
are important in any reporting and analysis. I admire Peter Bergen’s
clipped [British?] accent: so likable in the impression he creates
of reluctant truth teller. However, his report on the Afghan
"elections" was not accurate and low on context and facts. An
American helicopter gun ship could fly through the gaps in his
argument. Here are a few points you can bring to his attention:
He tried to make much of his location: Gardez in Pashtun territory. He
did not mention how he got there and the extent of "security" under
which the voting was carried out. If he was carried to Gardez by a
U.S. gun ship, is it a surprise that he tried to belittle the
Pashtun majority by denigrating their boycott of the "elections."
He did not discuss the basic groundwork of the "elections": They were
held under the protection of American and European troops and in the eye
of the vigilant American air force. Karzai, the American-appointed
"leader" of "democratic" Afghanistan, is guarded by U.S. security
agents. Without the Americans, the "elections" would not have happened.
The only fact Peter Bergen let drop was that the United Nations spent
$60 million on the Afghan "elections." If Bergen knows Afghanistan,
he would know that in the intense poverty of that war ravaged country,
$60 million dollars can buy any number of "voters." The Afghans are
cunning. When they see the Americans carrying out the charade of
"elections," some of them don’t mind standing in line to cast a ballot
and get a dollar in exchange. Not a bad bargain considering the
Peter Bergen has praised IMPERIAL HUBRIS, published by a senior
intelligence officer. [See back cover of book] Is it possible that
he did not read the chapter on Afghanistan which makes these points
He will last only as long as his sky is covered by U.S. F-16s and
helicopter gunships. The ground under him is already shaking as the
Taliban are on the attack. On "election day" as well as the day after,
there were numerous Taliban attacks, some in Kabul itself.
Karzai has NO ROOTS IN THE PASHTUN MAJORITY.
AS A KNOWN, WESTERNIZED, AGENT OF THE U.S., he has no future in Afghanistan.
Bergen should not try to ignore similar "elections" held by the
"Elections" can always be held in security zones. They are vain
attempts to ignore reality.

WAR NEWS: [Collected and organized by our
U.S. SAYS IT ATTACKED SEVEN MOSQUES
October 12. The U.S. announced that it attacked SEVEN mosques in Ramadi,
an area held by the Sunni majority. The reason given was that these
mosques had caches of weapons in them and the Imams were instigating
the people against the U.S. occupation forces. However, the
footage of the mosques after the attack did not show any weapons in
the mosques. Instead the footage showed the mosques riddled with
machine gun fire and artillery shrapnel.
and Islamic texts were scattered on the ground.
reporter says: The argument that mosque imams are instigating
people against occupation forces indicates that now the U.S. is
now removing the facade that it is not making war on Islam. There are
mosques across the world which are urging the oppressed masses to
stand up to America. Thus America is putting itself squarely and
openly against Islam.]
[Observers say: the U.S. argument would also apply to the Ka’aba and
the mosque of the Prophet, pbuh, if the forces of Islam wrest them from
the regime of the Saud family. The U.S. is moving towards a dangerous
confrontation with the rising tide of Islam.]
October 11: On the 12th day of its murderous assaults on Palestinian
townships, Israel’s air force hit a mosque in the Jabaliya refugee
camp. The mosque and surrounding homes were severely damaged. Qur’ans
and Islamic books in the mosque caught fire as the Jewish jet fighters
hit the place of worship. [The Jews have destroyed 130 mosques during
"ISRAEL" ATTACKS MOSQUE
This was the 131st documented case of sacrilege.]
Israeli troops killed a 11 year old Palestinian girl, riddling her with
20 shots. The Jews have killed more than 100 unarmed Palestinians since
Sept. 29 in an ongoing attempt to desroy the Palestinian will to resist.
However, observers note that in Taba, Egypt, the Jews were caught with
their pants down by Al-Qaida and paid in part for the ongoing slaughter
of innocent Palestinians. More than 10,000 Jews, mostly military forces
resting from their rampages in Palestinian cities, fled back to occupied
Palestine from their orgies in Egyptian night clubs and hotels.

CHINESE ENGINEERS KIDNAPED:
leader Abdullah Mahsud opened a new front against the Musharraf regime
by capturing two Chinese engineers and taking them to Mahsud territory.
According to Sana news, Abdullah told Voice of America by telephone
that there is NO Al-Qaida network in his area. He said his resistance
group is 100% Pakistani and is fighting to secure the release of Muslims
arrested by the Musharraf government.
Meanwhile in the night between October 11 and 12, there were heavy
exchanges of firing between Pakistani troops and Pakistani mujahideen
in the Makeen Ludha and Kuni Garam mountain areas of south Waziristan.
[The kidnaping of Chinese engineers may also be connected to the fact
that the Musharraf regime arrested and handed over a Chinese Islamic
leader to the Chinese Communists last year.
He is reported to have been tortured and executed by the Communists.]
[In the meantime, in an attempt to woo the Ahmadzai, Mahsud and other
tribes which are siding with the forces of Islam, the Musharraf regime
has offered a big bribe: An offer to spend $ 50,000,000 for the
"upliftment" of the tribal areas. The money has probably come from

FAIRFAX NEW ZEALAND LIMITED
reported 9/16/2004) New Zealand’s Kiwi troops are " pulling out of Iraq
under a cloak of secrecy as security deteriorates ... " While a huge
explosion and fire on the Iraq-Turkey oil pipeline on 9/1/2004,
followed by the "biggest sabotage operation on oil instillations in
Kirkut since the invasion" and a pipeline feeding the Al_Dura oil
refinery on the outskirts of Baghdad, have further reduced Iraq’s
already failing petroleum exports.
It would seem that bringing democracy to Iraq has become an increasingly
painful process so let’s re-examine that barrage of falsehoods from the
Bush' people which lead congress and many Americans down the road
towards this war.
It seems obvious the drive to seize Iraq had been driven in part by
Cheney's oil friends. The
(10 Mar 2003 ) reported a company tied to our Vice President had already
won a Pentagon contract " for advice on rebuilding Iraq oil fields after
a possible war."
Another hidden impetus behind Bush's War was revealed in the
March/April 2003 magazine,
by investigative reporter Robert Dreyfuss: The United States " has
steadily been accumulating military muscle in the Gulf, building bases,
selling weaponry and forging military partnerships. Now, it is poised
to consolidate its might in a place that will be a fulcrum of the
world's balance of power for decades to come. At a stroke, by taking
control of Iraq, the Bush administration can solidify a long-running
strategic design. Dreyfuss quotes James Akins, former US diplomat and
once ambassador to Saudi Arabia : It's the Kissinger Plan," says Akins.
" I thought it had been killed, but it's back." According to Akins, the
plan to seize Arab oil was initiated in 1975 in a series of well-placed
articles in such American magazines as
Dreyfuss notes: "The idea began to gain favor among a feisty group of
hard-line, pro Israel thinkers who played important roles in
President Reagan's Defense Department." Lead by Richard Perle, chairman
of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board, and Deputy Secretary of Defense
Paul Wolfowitz, this group still "occupies several dozen key posts in
the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department."
Dreyfuss also noted a Washington think tank developed: " Project for the
New American Century" Members include Richard, Perle, strategist
Robert Kagan, William Kristol,
publisher, Martin Peretz, and ex-CIA Director James Woolsey and are
" tied to a web of similar neo-conservative, pro-Israel organizations"
Dreyfuss quoted Diplomat Akins: "It's a team that looks all too familiar,
seeking to implement the plan first outlined back in 1975. It'll be
easier once we have Iraq... we already have Qatar, and Bahrain too so
it's only Saudi Arabia we're talking about, and the United Arab Emirates."
Robert Dreyfuss also quoted Michael Klare, Hampshire College professor,
and author of RESOURCE WARS, who concluded that :" Controlling Iraq is
about oil as power, rather than oil as fuel ....Control over the
Persian Gulf translates into control over Europe, Japan, and China.
It's having our hand on the spigot."
The legitimacy of Muslim concern was also outlined by George Bisharat,
Hastings Law professor, in a SF Chronicle column. Bisharat wrote: "
The real reason we are going to war is the messianic vision of a small
but influential group of strongly pro-Israel hawks within the Bush
administration. Their goal is unilateral global domination through
absolute military superiority." Bisharat noted the group's leader,
Richard Perle: "helped author a study for Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyhu describing Saddam Hussein's overthrow as "an important
Israeli strategic objective in its own right." War against Iraq would
eliminate any obstacle to a disposition of the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict on terms that satisfy Israel's territorial ambitions on most
or all of the West Bank.
In a recent (7/9/04) article: TREASON IN HIGH PLACES: PENTAGON
and ISRAEL, writer James Petras notes: " The FBI investigation into
Israel espionage agents in the Pentagon is part of a major struggle
between prominent Zionists in the Pentagon and the US Security apparatus.
Ever since the Bush regieme came into power there has been a fierce ...
war between Pentagon Zionists .their military collaborators..and the
professional military and intelligence apparatus."
Petras adds: " From 9/11/2001 to the invasion of Iraq, the Pentagon
Zionists and their civilian militarists had the upper hand: They
marginalized the CIA, and established their own intelligence services
to "cook the data". They pushed through the doctrine of sequential wars,
beginning with Afghanistan and Iraq and projecting wars with
and other Muslim countries. The Pentagon Zionists increased Israel’s
power in the Middle East, and promoted its expansionist colonization
of Palestine..." Petras adds: " It's clear that Israeli agents, not
simply Zionist ideologues, infest the top echelon of the Pentagon"
A day by day observation of this dangerous parasite’s quiet insinuation
into Washington’s intelligence, defence, planning and political systems
was recently offered by a retired Lieut-Colonel in the Air Force,
Karen Kwaitkowski ( see
Issue 8 pgs. 15-20). Kwaitkowski writes: " From May 2002 until
February 2003, I observed firsthand the formation of the Pentagon’s
Office of Special Planning (OSP) and watched the latter stages of the
neoconservative capture of the policy-intelligence nexus in the run-up
to the invasion of Iraq ... I watched neoconservative agenda bearers
within the OSP usurp measured and carefully-considered assessments, and
though suppression and distortion of intelligence analysis, promulgate
what were in fact falsehoods to both Congress and the Executive Office
of the President."
Kwaitkowski describes in detail how longtime professionals in
important Defense Department offices were replaced by agents from
Jewish-orientated, agenda-bearing think tanks " including the Middle East
Research Institute, the Washington Institute form Mideast Policy, and
the Jewish Institute for International Affairs." Adding : ‘That the
Pentagon ... was implementing its own foreign policy had not yet
occurred to me,"
Kwaitkowski describes how the neocons in the Office of Special Plans,
developed "talking points" , propaganistic in style and "all desk
officers were ordered to use them verbatim..in material intended for
higher-ups and people outside the Pentagon. "Talking points included
Saddam Hussein’s..using chemical weapons against his own people",
his relations with terrorists..aid to Palestinians, aggressive nuclear
weapons program..." Thus, instead of developing defense policy
alternatives and advice, the OSP was used to manufacture propaganda ...
and pseudo war planning."
Stephen Green, recently retired official from the UN and well-know author
of books on Israel and the Mideast, recently said of Paul Wolfowitz,
active neocon and Bush’s close advisor on Iraq that Wolfowitz " had
a strong attachment to Israel security, and a certain confusion about
his obligation to US national security." Green adds that earlier when "
Working with the DOD (Department of Defence), Wolfowitz had promoted the
sale of ATM 9-L air-to-air missiles to China ... A sale that
General Colin Powell, then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, intervened to
Columnist Charlie Reese
sept 15 ), reported that Neocons Richard Perle, Douglas Feith and
David Wurmser’s policy paper advised Netanyhu to abandon the peace
process, reject "land for peace", strengthen Israel’s defenses, and
focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power. Reese adds: " Netanyhu did"
abandon the peace process and at a cost of $ 200 billion and almost
1000 American lives, Israel did achieve its "strategic objective"...
removing Saddam from power ... It didn’t cost Israel one shekel or one
life." ... "The Israeli lobby ", Reese added, "has been so successful
in labeling any criticism of Israel as "anti-semitic" that most
Americans prefer to stick their heads in the sand."
Reaping the harvest of dragon’s teeth is likely to be a costly
experience for Americans.
Chechnia Before Beslan
The consequences of the war on civilian lives
One year after the conflict started, war injuries are still the leading
cause of death in most of Chechnya’s hospitals. In September and October,
there were over 200 new war wounded reported in local medical facilities.
Almost half of those hospitalized were women, children or the elderly.
These numbers only reflect the wounded admitted in 12 of the over
30 hospitals still functioning in Chechnya. The total is, without
question, far higher.
Hospitals report on a constant stream of civilian casualties resulting
from gunfire and artillery, from aerial attacks and mines. Bombs
intended for the Russian military or police outposts have also been
placed in areas where civilians live. The military forces in Chechnya
have paid scant regard for civilian casualties or civilian space in the
conduct of the war. Villagers live in constant terror of indiscriminate
gunfire which fills the nights throughout Chechnya.
"During the day it’s more or less quiet here, but at night it’s
terrifying. There is a post on the main road right above the village.
They get drunk and shoot all night. Just last week two armored vehicles
came into the village at night. My husband ran out of the house and hid.
They were screaming: "Kill him! Kill him!" They were shooting right into
our house. How can I live here with my children? After that I went back
to my home village (...). Almost every night I have to bring my children
down to the basement because of the shooting (...). They are scared."
