July 30: CNN reported that 800,000 people are facing famine. Of these, 150,000 are children who could be facing death.

New Trend notices that the U.S. is waging a $1 billion A WEEK war in Iraq while this vast tragedy unfolds in Niger, from where, ironically, Bush claimed that President Saddam Hussain was obtaining URANIUM! for his yet-to-be-found WMDs.

Re-Sentencing of Seifullah Chapman and Masoud Khan was a farce

On July 29, 2005 Judge Brinkema, in a court in Alexandria, Virginia, re-sentenced Seifullah Chapman, Masoud Khan and Hammad Abdur-Raheem. The Judge is a kindly-looking old lady who claimed that the obscenely long sentences she had given to the three [whom the former attorney general labelled as the "Virginia Jihad Network (!)"] were "sticking in her craw."

So the three were called to court and she took off about one third of the sentences over which she said she had jurisdiction. The others she said were ordered under decree from Congress. At the end of the day, Seifullah and Masood were left with LIFE SENTENCES. One wonders why this farce of "re-sentencing" was carried out.

The only person who gained a little was Br. Hammad whose sentence was brought down from 8 years to 3 years. However, even three years is too much for person who did not do anything, did not travel anywhere, had no connections to any group. He has simply been made to suffer because he refused to work as a snitch for the government against other Muslims.

The situation of Br. Seifullah is tragic. He has childhood diabetes. He has been complaining to the authorities ever since he was imprisoned that his diabetes is getting worse but to no avail. Now that the Judge is convinced that he might actually lose a limb if not treated, she ordered that he be taken to a prison hospital and treated.

Seifullah Chapman is a "White" brother with golden hair. He is an idealist whom Islam made a whole man. Speaking in court, he said he has never committed any violence against anyone, and during his prison stay has never expressed anger towards anyone. He said he has forgiven the Judge and the prosecutors who claim he is a "terrorist." He served his country through his young life, even serving as a marine. But, he said, he is being punished because he has embraced Islam. [His father is reported to have offered to pay for his trial attorney if he would give up Islam and work in his liquor store. He refused without hesitation.]

Masoud Khan seemed to be most cognizant about the fact that there is no justice for Muslims here. He addressed the court for less than a minute.

According to Mr. Jonathan Shapiro, Masaud's attorney, "there is no question as to the harshness of the penalty. Mr. Khan's Section 924(c) sentences apart from the 360 month guideline's sentence, are a consecutive life plus 35 years as the result of mandatory minimum sentences. " ... "The sentencing inquiry concerns the Section 924(c) counts only -- and the draconian mandatory minimum sentences those offenses warranted."

Judge Brinkema had the opportunity to reduce these sentences to one day if she preferred. She has instead reduced Masaud's sentence from 360 months to 10 years, leaving the sentence as life in prison WITHOUT PAROLE, plus 35 years. She suggested she cannot address the gun counts and that the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals must address that issue. If the 4th Circuit reduces the 35 years to less, Masaud will still remain with a life sentence.

Masaud's statement in court:

Bismillah -- All Praises Are Due to Allah, the Most Merciful

I wasn't going to give this short statement here today, but decided that as I should never despair from my Lord's Mercy, I should likewise never despair from enjoining what is justly right and forbidding what is unjustly wrong.

Truly Our Lord is oft-forgiving and Merciful and in this short life provides ample opportunities to turn to Him and correct our affairs before it is too late.

I, therefore, enjoin upon myself and everyone to fear God as He should rightly be feared and to know that God is swift in responding to the supplications of the oppressed.

I have come to realize that it is truly through trial and hardship that one comes to know and love his Creator. I can therefore honestly say that in this blessing of hardship, I am not the one who has been hurt, but sadly, those who have brought on this injustice have only hurt themselves.

In closing I would like to say thank you again [to the Community and our supporters] for everyone's ongoing support for us and others. May God protect and reward them abundantly.

One-Eyed Fatwa Issued by Lackeys of Bush: It Distorts the Qur'an, negates the Oneness of Humanity & Undermines the Unity of the Muslim Ummah

by Kaukab Siddique, Ph.D

On July 28, 2005 a Fatwa [religious ruling] was issued by some flunkeys of the U.S. government which is being publicized worldwide by the Zionist-controlled media as an "Islamic Ruling or Fatwa." The Fatwa mongers ignored the fact that Islam sees humanity as one and within it emphasizes the unity of the Muslim Ummah. If this Fatwa had condemned terrorism carried out by the U.S.-UK-Israel too as part of its message, perhaps my analysis would have come out differently. As a Muslim, I cannot ignore the worldwide suffering of my people and focus only on the suffering in UK.

I will look at three aspects of the Fatwa:
  1. Does this Fatwa have any foundation in the Qur'an and the authentic Hadith of the Prophet, pbuh.

  2. Does this Fatwa have any basis in the Islamic worldview about humanity at large and the Muslim Ummah [worldwide community] in particular?

  3. The serious harm it can do to the Muslims of America and an understanding of why the Zionist-controlled media are publicizing it.
  1. The Fatwa mongers have quoted a verse of the Qur'an as the foundation of their Fatwa as follows :
"The Qur'an, Islam's revealed text, states: "Whoever kills a person [unjustly]it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind." (Qur''an, 5:32)

First thing to note is that the Fatwa mongers have done serious harm to this verse on three counts:
    1. This verse has NOTHING WHATEVER to do with Jihad or terrorism or even war in general.

    2. The CONTEXT of the verse has been left out otherwise the irrelevance of the claim being made by the Fatwa mongers would have become clear.

    3. KEY WORDS in the verse have been left out which would have destroyed the case being made by the Fatwa group.
This is the text of the verse:

"On that account We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people. And if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land." [5:32]

As any good Muslim would knows, deliberately leaving words out of the Qur'an to make it fit one's design is a deadly sin which disqualifies anyone from issuing a Fatwa in the name of Islam.

Secondly, the Fatwa mongers left out its context. This verse is about the story of Cain and Abel [though the names are not give in the Qur'an] which begins with 5:27. It is about sibling rivary and jealousy which can lead to killing. Metaphorically killing in person-to-person relationship is being described as killing of all humanity, as is saving one life like saving all humanity.

The Qur'an is telling us that such was the decree for "the Children of Israel." This is not Islamic Law which considers the killing of one person as ONE COUNT OF MURDER only and not the killing of all humanity.

Only people who have no knowledge of Islam would quote this verse related to Jihad, terrorism or war. The Qur'an teaches killing by way of Jihad; hence it is absurd to claim that killing per se is not permitted.

In fact, this verse goes against the segments of the Jews [like the Zionist Jews in our time] about whom it says "many of them continued to commit excesses in the land." As these people who issued the Fatwa are the friends of Israel, they simply OMITTED the clear references to the Jews!

As for retaliation for "murder or for spreading mischief in the land" killing is not only allowed in Islam but is part of Islamic law. Again our "sages" quietly left it out of the verse.

  2. I call the Fatwa of these lackeys a "one-eyed" Fatwa because it conveniently leaves out the ONENESS of HUMANITY and the UNITY of the MUSLIM UMMAH [worldwide community] which are absolutely fundamental to Islam. These persons, cowards that they are, do not mention the terrorism which has been DIRECTED AT THE MUSLIM WORLD by Bush and Blair. I find it difficult to believe that the Fatwa mongers are Muslims when they have ignored these facts: While issuing this Fatwa, the lackeys forgot that Muslims can still read the Qur'an and it says: "The believers are but one brotherhood {sisterhood]: so make peace between your brothers: and fear Allah that ye may receive Mercy."

Not only these Fatwa mongers forgot the Qur'an, they ignored all that is sacred in Islam when they kept their mouths shut when AFGHANISTAN was BOMBED DURING RAMADAN and people praying Tarawih were missiled in their mosque. in Iraq, FALLUJAH was WIPED OUT house by house, and mosque by mosque during Ramadan. Even during the nights of Lailatul Qadr, the bombing and killing of Muslims continued at the hands of U.S. air force and marines. There was not a peep out of these cowardly Fatwa mongers. On what basis can they claim to be Muslims?

This Fatwa is racist because it has been issued in response to the attacks in London. Thus if the English are killed, it is a matter of great concern, but if Iraqis, Afghans, Kashmiris, Chechens, Uzbeks, Sudanese, Somalis and Palestinians are killed, no Fatwa is issued. [In fact, I would say that these people would not DARE to issue a Fatwa about the suffering of Muslims if the victimizers are USA-UK-Israel.] This is RACISM and PATRIOTISM of a very narrow kind [which a scholar described as "the last refuge of the scoundrel."]

  3. Who are these people who issued the Fatwa? They are basically long time supporters of the U.S. government from subservient organizations like ISNA, ICNA and their offshoots. A few of them should be mentioned by name: Qazwini is a Shi'ite who has a $14 million mosque in Michigan. He is on the record as saying that the U.S. occupation of Iraq is "liberation." He is an enthusiastic visitor to the White House. He claims to be Shia, but he is of the Kufan type, those who invited Imam Husain, r.a., but then betrayed him. Qazwini was silent when U.S. tanks were rampaging through Najaf. Badawi, as we have shown before, blatantly tried to distort the meaning and significance of Jihad in the Qur'an. He is a violator of the Qur'an. Taha Jabir al-Alawani was involved in an earlier notorious "fatwa" by which he and ISNA/CAIR etc tried to justify bloc voting for Bush, only one of the disasters these people have inflicted on the Muslims of America. Zulfiqar is from ICNA and known for his ignorance of Islamic behavior. Some of the signatories may be innocent victims of this clique.

This Fatwa is simply the work of agents of U.S. policies working in 4 letter organizations coming forth in the guise of "Islamic scholars."

This Fatwa could become what the Star of David was allegedly for the Jews under Hitler. These people have managed to put together a list of mosques which they claim support their Fatwa. This would mean that the 2500 mosques which have not signed on to this Fatwa can now be targeted as "not opposing terrorism." This is a way of telling the Zionists which mosques not to hit. These are the "protected" mosques connected to the Fatwa, duly listed, so that pressure can be exerted on the mosques which did not sign up to "do so or else."

These Fatwa mongers have not defined "terrorism" or "extremism," the two key terms thay have used. Thus one who attacks Zionist forces in Israel or Kashmir can be deemed a terrorist by these agents, or one who prays a lot in addition to the obligatory prayers can be called an extremist.
CONCLUSION: This is a ONE-EYED Fatwa, which looks at the world from the point of view of the oppressor and ignores the totality of humanity. The Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, spoke about the ONE-EYED DECEIVER [Dajjal]. Here we have Dajjal projecting his viewpoint through people who claim to be Muslims and who pray and fast. The messenger of Allah pinpointed the master of these Fatwa mongers when he said:

" From Abdullah ibn Umar, r.a.: The messenger of Allah, pbuh, stood among the people and gave praise to Allah which is His due and spoke of Dajjal. He (the Prophet) said: I warn you against the coming of Dajjal, and there has not been a prophet who did not warn against Dajjal but I will put it to you in a way in which they did not: That is: DAJJAL is ONE-EYED and ALLAH IS NOT ONE-EYED. Jihad-Supporting Prof Calls US 'Great Deceiver'
By Sherrie Gossett
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
July 12, 20

(CNSNews.com) - A journalism professor at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, who previously described the United States as the "Great Deceiver," is criticizing the "attempt to involve U.S. Muslims in London guilt," a reference to the July 7 terrorist attacks in England that killed at least 52 people and may have been the work of al Qaeda.

Dr. Kaukab Siddique, who also teaches English at the university named for Abraham Lincoln, is warning readers in his New Trend online magazine not to try to "appease the people in power by subservience, or 'uncle tomming.'"

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), one of the most vocal Muslim advocacy groups in the U.S., has sent condolences to the British people for the train and bus bombings that left 700 people wounded. CAIR also sent a delegation to meet with the British ambassador to the U.S. on July 8.

However, Siddique chided CAIR and the U.S. for not sending sympathies to Iraqi cities that were bombed or Afghans who were subjected to what he described as the American "reign of terror."

Apologies related to the London bombings are damaging to the self-respect and dignity of American Muslims because they imply that all Muslims are responsible, according to Siddique.

For Muslims who are "depressed" over CAIR's call to "kow tow to the embassy of an aggressive military power, which has occupation forces in two Muslim countries," Siddique offers the following advice: don't break the law, know your rights, pray, and if depression persists, go clean the bathroom at the local mosque.

Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, called Siddique's comments "beyond shocking" and "mind-boggling." Noting that New Trend Magazine also has a London address, Cooper wondered whether Siddique was "embracing the goal of the people who did this (London bombings).

"Where's the outrage?" Cooper asked. "These statements supply an insight into someone who cannot bring himself to condemn terrorism. Human instinct is to cry out against such outrages, but he's telling people to go clean the toilet."

Siddique has published controversial commentary on Jews, the Holocaust and armed jihad. As a leader of Jamaat al-Muslimeen (the Islamic People's Movement) International, Siddique has delivered some of these messages at mosques.

Siddique has authored a booklet that referred to America as the "Dajjl," a term that is variously translated by Muslims as either the "Antichrist" or "Great Deceiver." Siddique has argued that previous Muslim efforts to link Israel to the anti-Christ were wrong, that the United States had to be the anti-Christ since it was providing Israel with so much financial assistance.

He has also labeled the U.S. the "Evil Empire" of our age. "Muslims must engage in jihad to defeat Dajjl," he wrote, adding:
"The ideas of guerilla warfare, denial of easy occupation to the enemy, and ability to use small weapons should be made available to every Muslim."

On a New Trend webpage dedicated to three female suicide bombers, Zionism is equated with "systematic genocide" and readers are urged to support a boycott of "major supporters of Zionism," including McDonald's, Coca Cola, Starbucks, Home Depot and Disney.

The Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz is categorized as a "Jewish milk cow" by Siddique, which has "netted billions of dollars for Israel, owing to the pity it creates for Jews who run that terrorist entity."

While Siddique has publicly insisted that he does not oppose Jews "as a collective," a recent issue of New Trend warned that Jews today are the most powerful, the wealthiest and the most oppressive people in the world.

American Jews are among the "powerful negative forces" subverting freedom in the U.S., Siddique wrote. They control the media through a network of "communications experts and entertainers," such as Larry King, Ted Koppel, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. Also listed were the Washington Post, the New York Times and producers for the CBS News program, "60 Minutes."

Jews are also in control of international banking as well as the Bush administration, according to New Trend.

Within the pages of New Trend, Siddique has offered support for scholars Ernst Zundel and David Irving, who are among the most prominent writers denying that the Jewish Holocaust occurred. New Trend contends there is no evidence Jews were gassed and credits Irving with being "able to help people see the REAL Hitler, rather than the devil incarnate the victors have made him out to be."

Cooper, from the Wiesenthal Center, admitted that Siddique is "honest, open and it's all here on his website for all to read." But he added that Siddique is "a bigot, an anti-Semite and a Holocaust denier. He shows more concern for the goals -- if not the operational aspects -- of Islamic terrorists rather than to the innocent victims of terror."

The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) defended Siddique Monday when contacted by Cybercast News Service.

Jonathan Knight, director of academic freedom for the AAUP, argued that "however unpopular or distasteful the views of professors are, their freedom to express them is an essential condition of a truly free institution.

"What may be desirable is one thing. What is punishable is another," Knight said. He added that there was no evidence Siddique's views had entered his classroom at Lincoln University.

"If he had somewhat less radical ideas that gave someone offense, he would not be subject to admonishment either," Knight said.

Lincoln University, a historically black college 50 miles outside of Philadelphia, honors the "Great Emancipator," America's 16th president. Numerous African-American leaders, including the late Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall and the late poet and author Langston Hughes, were students at the school.

Neither Siddique, nor anyone at Lincoln University, responded to Cybercast News Service requests for comment for this article.

Jewish Groups Urge Condemnation of Muslim Prof's Statements
By Sherrie Gossett
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
July 14, 2005

(CNSNews.com) - Jewish human rights groups are urging officials at Pennsylvania's Lincoln University to condemn the statements of a professor who has expressed support for an armed jihad against the West and skepticism about the World War II Jewish Holocaust.

Cybercast News Service reported Tuesday on the controversial statements made by Dr. Kaukab Siddique, a professor of English and journalism at the predominantly black Lincoln University in Chester County, Pa.

Siddique's remarks were published in his online web magazine called New Trend. The magazine argues that the Holocaust never happened but has been used as a billion-dollar "cash cow" for Jews.

Another passage from Siddique's magazine contradicts that view. "If the Jews were the chosen people, Allah would not have sent the holocaust on them under Hitler."

Jews maintain a stranglehold on media, big business, universities and the Pentagon, New Trend warns. One of the cyber magazine's pages is dedicated to three female suicide bombers and urges reader to boycott supporters of "Zionism," including Disneyland, Starbucks, Coca Cola, Home Depot, McDonalds, Sara Lee, Estee Lauder and Timberland.

The professor supports armed jihad, but he complains that westerners often fail to place such jihad in an appropriate context. The situations in which armed jihad is allowed, Siddique explains, include self-defense, fighting for the honor of women, fighting in defense of Muslim lands and fighting against cultural imperialism, which he argues is dedicated to desecrating and destroying places and items considered holy by Muslims.

Muslims participating in jihad simply want their homelands to be free, he insists. "In no case are Muslims permitted to accept slavery and oppression."

Siddique has written articles for other publications and has spoken to student groups on other college and university campuses, where he distributes copies of his newsletter.

Following publication of Tuesday's Cybercast News Service report, Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, sent a letter to Lincoln University President Ivory Nelson, asking him to review Siddique's website and to "publicly condemn [Siddique's] hatred and bigotry."

Cooper's letter states in part: "[Siddique's] website attacks other Muslims expressing solidarity with the victims of the London Bombing outrages, embraces prominent bigots and racists who deny the WWII Nazi Holocaust and equates Zionism with Racism, while accusing Israel of Genocide."

Nelson has not responded to Cooper's letter, which was forwarded to Michael Hill, vice president of development and external communications at the university. Hill on Tuesday told Cybercast News Service that "Lincoln University does not comment on the personal activities of its faculty." He refused further comment.

That response, said Cooper, is "absolutely shocking." He added that "there's a complete lack of moral clarity here" on the part of Lincoln University. "What kind of message does this send to the student body?"

The university could acknowledge the professor's freedom of speech, Cooper argued, while at the same time expressing disagreement with and disassociation from the statements made by Siddique. Referring to the recent London bombings, Cooper said: "If you can't speak out at a time like this, then we're in trouble."

Yehudit Barsky, director of the Division on Middle East and International Terrorism at the American Jewish Committee in New York City, said Lincoln University has a responsibility to repudiate Siddique's remarks and to make sure that Siddique's views do not reflect those of the university.

"If a professor had made remarks supporting the Ku Klux Klan, it's clear we would see Lincoln distancing themselves from the remarks," Barsky said.

"Once someone gets into Holocaust revisionism, it's clear the person has become a hatemonger," added Muslim author Stephen Schwartz, director of the Center for Islamic Pluralism.

While free speech is an important component of an academic environment, Schwartz said Lincoln University has an interest in maintaining "good order" on the campus and should therefore "monitor Siddique's statements and activities closely to see he does not transgress his contract."

The American Association of University Professors has defended Siddique, saying "however unpopular or distasteful the views of professors are, their freedom to express them is an essential condition of a truly free institution."

I have been locked by the lawless.
Handcuffed by the haters.
Gagged by the greedy.

It can be broken down.
