  1. Ramsey Clark, leader of the U.S Anti-War Movement told Dr. Kaukab Siddique, May 21, that the attempt to humiliate President Saddam Hussain by releasing photos of him secretly taken in prison is a violation of the Geneva Conventions. Mr. Clark termed it an "assault on human dignity."

[Many people have been fooled by the steady drum roll of propaganda against President Saddam Hussain. Whatever sins he committed before his conversion to Islam in 1992 will, inshallah, be washed away by his refusal to surrender to a superpower. He is the first Arab ruler in recent history to have gone underground to fight a powerful invading army. The stocks of munitions he he hid around Iraq have made the Islamic resistance possible.]
  2. On the anniversary of Malcolm X [al-Hajj Malik Shabazz], Jamaat al-Muslimeen urges Muslims to organize for the freedom of Imam Jamil al-Amin. Like Malcolm X, Imam Jamil had to make a choice between prosperity in this world and success in the Hereafter. We urge the Muslim world, the Muslims of Africa and African-American Muslims to recognize the fact that a top Islamic leader is being humiliated in U.S. prison on faked charges. Listen to Imam Jamil on CD. Order from the Jamaat address given above.
[Do you see any American Muslim standing up to the U.S. power like Malcolm and Imam Jamil?]
  3. We ask the followers of W.D. Muhammad to ask their "imam" why he is silent about the tragedy being inflicted by the Bush-Sharon team on the Muslim Ummah? Why is he silent about the Imam of America, Imam Jamil Abdullah al-Amin? How long will these banquets and PR and fund raising go on while humanity is being crushed by W.D.'s friend in the White House?
[W.D.'s paper Muslim Journal published Bush's photo in color on the top front page and congratulated him on his election victory. Is there any W.D. man who will deny it?]
  4. Spanish translation of the Qur'an is available from the Jamaat [see address above] for five dollars. Hispanics are embracing Islam, especially in prison.
  5. Can you believe this? A $14 million mosque has been built in Dearborn, Michigan [outside Detroit]. At a time when the Muslim world is being torn asunder by war, poverty and exploitation, isn't this obscene? When Muslims rotting in U.S. prisons do not have money for good attorneys, when Muslim human rights activists don't have funds for travel expenses, $14 MILLION have been spent on ONE BUILDING!
  6. Who is behind this $14 million monster? It was inaugurated at the end of April by Syed Hassan Qazwini. This man claims to be descendent of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)! and wears a black turban and a cleric's dress. From all accounts, he is ONE OF THE BIGGEST SUPPORTERS OF THE WAR IN IRAQ launched by his good friend Bush. He calls it the "liberation" of Iraq. If Imam Ali, ra., had been alive today, he would have had this character whipped for manufacturing a $14 million dollar mosque in a time of war. Qazwini's marine buddies have been destroying mosques in Fallujah, rampaging in Najaf and desecrating the Qur'an in Guantanamo Bay. His British friends allowed the burning of Imam Ali's, r.a., Qur'an in Basra, and he still loves his British "liberators."
[Readers are encouraged to send us at the above address more information on Qazwini. We have learned that he has tried to incite sectarian strife among Muslims by publishing an attack on Imam Bukhari's Sahih. Please send it to us if you have a copy of Qazwini's attack.]

Human Tragedy Unfolds in Iraq's Al-Qaim

AL-QAIM, Iraq, May 13, 2005 ( IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) Hundreds of Iraqi families have fled the western Iraqi town of Al-Qaim to escape the ongoing US attacks there, with the Red Crescent warning that the US offensive has turned the city into a "big disaster", as local inhabitants complained about the stench of dead bodies laid on the streets or beneath the rubble of houses as a result of the fierce US offensive.

Firdous Al-Abadi, a spokesman for the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS), said more than 100 Iraqi families have fled Al-Qaim in the Al-Anbar province near the Syrian borders to the town of A'ana, some 75 km from Al-Qaim.

She added that unknown numbers of Iraqi families also fled to Rawa and Haditha, some 70 km to the northeast.

"More people are desperately trying to leave the town and according to our information US troops have closed all exit points," Abadi told the Integrated Regional Information Networks (IRIN) Thursday, May 12.

The ongoing clashes in the city barred many medical convoys from reaching the city to bury corpses of the Iraqis killed in the fighting, whose bodies are laid on the streets and beneath the rubble of the houses.

"The situation is very tragic and could turn into a disaster because of the dead bodies which are left in the streets," doctor Walid Al-Obeidi told Al-Quds Press Friday.

He urged both US occupation forces and Iraqi resistance fighters to halt the clashes to allow the medical convoys to bury the dead.

More than 1,000 US Marines have been launching a sweeping offensive on the city of Al-Qaim since May 7, on claims of searching for followers of Al-Qaeda-linked Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, the most wanted man in Iraq.

No Choice

Iraqi children pay the price.

Iraqi families, who have fled the town, said many innocent people were caught in the middle of the clashes between the US occupation forces and the Iraqi resistance and had no choice but to leave their homes.

"I couldn't take anything with me as we ran to escape clashes. We have been helped by a Sheikh in this mosque," Abu Omar told IRIN, as he and his four-member family took refuge in a mosque in Al-Qaim.

Um Mazin, another Iraqi woman fleeing the town, said she left the area with her family to escape the American bombings, according to the Associated Press (AP).

"The Americans do not hit the gunmen; they hit the houses of civilians."

But as they hurried to escape their lives, they failed to bring enough supplies they needed to survive.

"We did not take enough food, water, medicine or clothes...and we are tired of the sandstorms," Um Mazin said wearily.

"No one can go back now, and we do not know what happened to our husbands."

On Thursday, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society sent a convoy of supplies to the area, carrying food and medical items, potable water, tents and ambulances.

"A team of 15 people with three trucks packed with tents, blankets, kitchen utensils, water, medicine and food arrived today in Akashat," Mazen Abdallah told Agence France Presse (AFP) Friday.

Lack of Supplies

As they left the western Iraqi town, fleeing families have taken refuge in two abandoned schools and a mosque between Al-Qaim and Rawa as well as in the local sports stadium to escape the clashes.

Helping them to survive, local religious leaders from the area were supplying the families with food and water.

However, there are high fears of a humanitarian crisis in the area as a result of the continuing clashes which prevented the relief convoys from reaching afflicted people.

"Our contacts inside Al-Qaim, told us by phone, that there is no power, no telephones and a 24-hour curfew has been imposed," Al-Abadi said.

Example of Outstanding Jew: Harold Pinter Says Blair is Criminal

Re: MALCOLM X KNEW (Safar 3, 1426/March 14, 2005 #21) "one proof that all the civil rights posturing of so many Jews wasn't sincere."

My comment:

There is a time and place for everything. Old stories should be referred to only if they are relevant. However, in this case, I feel that we should move on. Hence, I offer no criticism on Malcolm X's comment.

We should now focus on real problem facing the world. One may ask what are the problems and the answers may vary from person to person.

According to me, the root of all problems facing us is American Government's behaviour towards us all. To put it bluntly, Washington has given to all and sundry that its objective is to control the resources of the whole world.

People throughout the world have taken up this challenge and in their own way are tackling up this issue i.e. attacking not only Bush but also his stooges. Your readers already know who the stooges are in the Muslim world.

In passing let me bring to your readers' attention the behaviour of a prominent British Jew. He is Harold Pinter. I am not of course referring to other Jews like Noam Chomsky, or that Israeli General who resigned when asked to attack Lebanon.

Harold Pinter has put his whole life in fighting against tyranny by American Government and America's stooges and allies.

Please read on the following news item appearing in a London newspaper. If any of your readers are interested in finding more about Harold Pinter, they can visit http://www.haroldpinter.org/home/index.shtml

"Harold Pinter announced today that he has decided to abandon his career as a playwright in order to concentrate exclusively on politics. The 74-year-old dramatist has spent the bulk of his time in recent years as a passionate campaigner against the prime minister and the conflict in Iraq.

In an outstanding writing career that has spanned four decades, Pinter has produced some of modern ....and his announcement today will come as a blow to the many people in the theatre world who regard him as Britain's greatest living playwright. Pinter explained his decision in an interview with Mark Lawson, due to be aired on Radio 4's Front Row at 7.15pm this evening.

"I've written 29 plays. Isn't that enough?" he asked. ....My energies are going in different directions - over the last few years I've made a number of political speeches at various locations and ceremonies ... I'm using a lot of energy more specifically about political states of affairs, which I think are very, very worrying as things stand." Last November Pinter was among a group of celebrity campaigners who called for the prime minister's impeachment.

- Pinter takes final bow The Guardian February 28, 2005.

Addressing the million march for peace , Playwright Harold Pinter claimed US barbarism would destroy the world and called on Tony Blair to resign. To cheers, he said: "It's a country run by a bunch of criminals with Tony Blair as a hired Christian thug."
Daily Mirror 17 February 2003

One of Pinter's best quote which I like is "The crimes of the U.S. throughout the world have been systematic, constant, clinical, remorseless, and fully documented but nobody talks about them."
