Elite Muslim Gathering
Many top Muslim Elites of the larger Maryland area attended
a meeting organized with great care by Dr. H. Ashruf,
founding member of the Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB).
There was a great diversity of opinions. Many people for the
first time heard views of the other Muslims that they had
not known before.
For the first time ever,
Dr and Mrs. Kaukab Siddique were invited to a meeting of the
Muslim elites of the area. Amoung those present were a few
who have bitterly opposed Kaukab Siddique and New Trend over
the years.
It is a great tribute to Dr. Ashruf's peace-making abilities
that he was able to bring together people with such
diversity and different views.

Soon after the Narendra Modi-led BJP secured an emphatic
victory in the parliamentary election, reports about
targeting of Muslims and dalits started trickling in from
various parts of the country. The second consecutive win for
the BJP, riding on a narrative built around communal
nationalist jingoism, has emboldened right-wing goons and
vigilantes.
Mohammed Barkat Alam experienced it first-hand in Gurgaon.
On May 25, two days after the Lok Sabha election results
were declared, a group of men accosted Alam when he was
returning from a mosque after evening prayers. He was
assaulted and asked to remove his skull cap and chant Jai
Shri Ram. Hailing from Begusarai in Bihar, Alam worked as a
tailor in Gurgaon.
Narrating the incident to the media, Alam said, "Four men on
a motorcycle and two pedestrians intercepted me. One of the
pedestrians hit me with a stick and told me that I was not
allowed to wear a skullcap in the area. He told me to take
it off. I told him that I was returning from the mosque.
When I refused, he hit me and forcibly took the cap off. He
said that if I resisted too much, he would make me chant
'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Jai Shri Ram'."...

MORSI: DISCORD FUELED AMONG SCHOLARS

The announcement of the former democratically elected
president of Egypt came as a rude shock to many Muslims of
the World, including Nigeria. While all Muslims in Nigeria,
regardless of sects, prayed for the late Egyptian leader,
skirmishes ensued as it was almost overblown by a group
known to have had inclination towards Ikhawanee group of
Egypt.
Ikhawanees in Nigeria are known for influencing political
leaders to yield to issues around rights of Muslims through
any means, especially public protests. Whereas the Salaffi-
inclined group always take them up on numbers of
propositions to bring evidence from Quran and Hadith. This
has been the bedrock of the disagreement between the two
groups from the time immemorial . This became more intense
as the news of death of Morsi broke!
Ikhawanee brothers made very wide awareness on the death of
Morsi that even those who never understood any international
politics change their profile pictures to Morsi's on all
their social media accounts;
Salat- ul- Ghaib was also said by members throughout Western
Nigeria, etc. But all these would not just be observed
without some jibes on the Sallaffis and condemnation of
anything Saudis'.
Many Salaffi brothers also prayed for Morsi even though they
never minced words in castigating the system of taking the
position of leadership by political means, especially
democracy. Democracy to many Salaffi brothers is kufru
system which Muslims should shy away from.
The writer notices that the main issue is that there are
some from both groups that make issues go too awry! For
instance, there are some ikhwanis who do not see anything
good from Salaffi brothers, even to think everyone that
holds salafiyah belief must be sponsored by Saudi government
and therefore must be a puppet of Saudi.
There are also some Sallaffis, if scanty, that laid curse on
the death of Morsi, a very bad one and stupid action from
Muslim to Muslim, no matter what the grievances.
In all, all Muslims should try to cleanse their intentions
on any endeavor as Allah is the best disposer of all
affairs. Ikhlas is the bedrock of all worship but nothing
can be regarded worship, however beautiful, if such is at
slight variance with the way of our noble prophet Muhammed
Bin Abdullah, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon
him.

The Real Reason Why President Morsi was murdered. He did
not realize how Evil is the Egyptian Power structure.

Some of the comments about President Morsi are beyond
absurd. One is: Was he murdered? Even an ordinary citizen's
death in police custody is considered murder to begin
with.
Another absurdity : Was General Sissi, the tyrant
responsible for the murder? The general has had several
thousand peaceful demonstrators killed in broad daylight.
Remember Rabia?
A third absurdity: It is so sad because he was
democratically elected. One has to be simple mincded to
believe that anyone can be elected in Egypt without the
support of the military and America. [The only exceptions
are Iran and Turkey,]
Egypt is central in ability to fight Israel and defeat it
militarily as it once almost did. Even without Islamic
leadership Egypt has hurt the West more than anyone else,
Remember thar Mohommed Atta was Egyptian. Also, Ayman
al-Zawahiri was second only to Osama bin Laden. Even now,
many of the leaders of ISIS on the battlefield are Egyptian.
The most important internal problem for the tyrant Mubarak
was Dr. Omar Abdel Rahman and Jama' Islamiyya.
So the real issue in Egypt is not democracy but Islam.
What happened with Dr. Morsi was that Muslim Brotherhood
activists in America and Europe were such bootlickers of the
western powers that the West was convinced that if someone
from the Brotherhood were elected, he would be malleable and
would never go against western financial and military
investment in Egypt.
These Brotherhood people living in the West did not
represent the Egyptian people, not even Brotherhood
supporters in Egypt.
Dr. Morsi was not even from the actual Brotherhood.
What was he thinking? To me it seems that he thought he
could follow the Turkish pattern. Slowly but steadily he
would remove Israel's stranglehold on Egypt.
He did not realize that Turkey was not up against Israel. If
Egypt became Islamic, the entire American-Israeli takeover
of the Middle East would vaporize.
The Egyptian army is 100% westernized and the police is
worse.
Egyptian power structure is so evil that they executed
Egypt's greatest Islamic scholar, Syed Qutb. Women too were
tortured. Read the story of Zainab al-Ghazzali.
America and Israel were so impressed by the evil of Egyptian
tyranny, they used to send Muslims to be tortured in
Egypt.
Morsi was such a loving, kind person, he appointed General
Sissi as army chief because his wife wore hijab!
Large crowds cheered Dr. Morsi when he moved slowly but
steadily against Israel and in support of Gaza. America and
the army were watching. They soon realized that Morsi would
not stop, The people of Egypt were rising up though they had
no weapons.
Morsi even started working for the release of Dr. Omar Abdel
Rahman who was in an American prison cell.
Also, Morsi did not realize that during decades of Mubarak's
rule, a large secular structure had developed for whom Islam
was only saying "asalamu alaikum" and going to the mosque on
Fridays and Eid.
So when General Sissi made his move, thousands of stupid
Egyptian secularists supported him. Even the opposition was
secular after the Brotherhood was smashed.
[Jamaate Islami in Pakistan has learned from Egypt. It dare
not to challenge the army though it knows the army is
corrupt and its generals are serving America.]
Morsi was a strong Muslim in an Egyptian prison, humiliated
and mistreated till the end, but his faith always remained
strong.

LAHORE, June 23; Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator
Sirajul Haq, has said that the PTI government was the most
failed government in the country's history.
Addressing a huge Awami March at Faisalabad on Sunday, he
said that the government had increased the prices of sugar
and cement overnight only to benefit the sugar and cement
mafias.
He said the JI would announce its future line of action at
its Million march in Karachi, on June 30.
He further said the JI would not be a part of the PPP and
PML(N) campaign and added the masses had no option except
the JI.
Sirajul Haq said that the party talking of the Madina state
had announced building 1100 cinema house. He said the
kisans and labourers of the country were crying. He said
that India was providing electricity and farm inputs to
farmers on subsidized rates while the Pakistan government
had increased the prices of these items.
The JI chief said that the businessmen of Faisalabad had set
up cottage and small industry and provided jobs to lakhs of
people but the government had levied tax of these industries
causing problems for the workers.
He said the government and the NAB would have to proceed in
the mega corruption cases in order to fill its treasury.
He said if the government wanted progress and prosperity, it
would have to abolish interest.
SirajulHaq said that the government had chalked out a policy
to give a way out to thieves. He said that feudal lords and
capitalists who had been getting PPP and PML(N) tickets were
now in the PTI and half of the Imran khan's cabinet
comprised these turncoats.

Daily air strikes by Russian air fleet is continuing.
The bombing is focusing on towns in Idlib province ,
northern Hama province, parts of Latakia province and points
in north west Aleppo province.
The dropping of barrel bombs by Assad's helicopters is also
continuing but on a much smaller scale in parts of Idlib
province.
The civilian death toll is steadily rising into hundreds
killed and wounded.
Civilians are fleeing towards the north as the bombing
continues. The number is estimated above 200,000 now.
The defense of Idlib province is now completely in the hands
of Tahrir [al-Nusra] with a smaller pro-al-Qaida group known
as "Protectors of the Deen." This has created a problem for
Turkey which considers both groups as "terrorist" groups.
Parts of north west Idlib and Latakia are defended by
Turkistani fighters [Uighurs] from Chna. In addition,
northern areas of the four Muslim provinces are defended by
Syrian fighters previously known as FSA but now allied to
Turkey as Liberation forces.
Assad's Shia militias [Iranians, Afghans, Lebanese] have not
been able to advance despite the cover provided by Russian
bombers.
ISIS is busy in desert warfare aganst the Assad regime's
Shia militias, particularly Iranians and Lebanese hizb.
SOHR is reporting increasing losses in Assad's forces near
the Mayaedein area of Der ez Zor province. IS is also
suffeting losses in this fighting but on a smaller
scale.
In eastern Homs province, east of Sokhna, IS is
strengthening its hold in desert strongholds and strikimg at
Assad's outposts and pro-American SDF troops towards
al-Raqqa.

Guru of Self-Help Cult Convicted in Lurid Sex-trafficking Case.

Raniere listened attentively, but showed no visible reaction
as he learned the verdict.
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said Raniere plans to appeal.
"Keith maintains his innocence. It's a very sad day for
him," Agnifilo said. "I think he's not surprised, but he
maintains that he didn't mean to do anything wrong."
Raniere's sentencing is set for Sept. 25.
Raniere once had an international following with a foothold
in Hollywood with his self-help group, called NXIVM, that
was deemed a cult by critics. His adherents included TV
actress Allison Mack, best known for her role as a friend of
a young Superman in the series "Smallville," and Seagram's
liquor fortune heiress, Clare Bronfman.
Prosecutors had told jurors that someone known as "Vanguard"
and revered as "the smartest man in the world" among some
followers was actually a creepy con man who barely got
passing grades in college.
The sorority, sometimes called "The Vow," was created "to
satisfy the defendant's desire for sex, power and control,"
Assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Penza said in closing
arguments .
Among the more damning allegations against Raniere were that
he had some women branded with his initials and that he
started having sex with one of his followers starting at age
15. Prosecutors said he took a series of nude photos of the
teen that were shown at trial, one by one, to the eight
women and four men who comprised the jury.
Raniere kept the child pornography stashed in his private
study as "a trophy" of "his sexual conquest," Penza
said.
The defense argued Raniere was a genuine believer in
unconventional means for self-improvement and that all his
sexual encounters with female followers of NXIVM were
consensual. His behavior could be seen as "repulsive and
offensive, but we don't convict people in this country for
being repulsive or offensive," Agnifilo said in his
closings.
Raniere, 58, was arrested at a Mexican hideout in 2018
following an investigation his Albany-area group.
His organization began to crumble amid sensational reports
about The Vow alleging its members were held down and
branded in ceremonies at a "sorority house" for them that
had a mock dungeon.
Mack and Bronfman, who were named as defendants with Raniere
in a federal indictment, pleaded guilty before they could go
to trial with him. They didn't testify, leaving a
cooperating member of his inner circle and three victims
from the secret sorority as the key witnesses.
The cooperator described how female "masters" forced
"slaves" for Raniere to give up "collateral" — nude
photos and other material that would ruin them if ever made
public - to keep them in line

June is "Gay Pride" month in America, and the true
Christians all over the U.S. are thankful June is almost
over. It is bad enough that homosexuals are able to legally
flaunt their sin throughout the year, but the countless
Festivals and Parades and Flag waving is too much. A true
God-honoring society would never allow this.
A pastor friend of mine once said "If God doesn't do
something harsh to America soon, He will have to apologize
to Sodom and Gomorrah". We all know God destroyed Sodom
and Gomorrah for the same sins they are "proud" of all
around the U.S. Instead of being fearful or ashamed, they
are "proud". Sadly, most so-called "Christians" are
indifferent to this sin or are afraid to speak out against
it.
We want to share a few bible verses with the readers of New
Trend, and remind them that true Christians do not support
or condone homosexuality. There is One God; and God calls it
sinful.

Red Mosque: Again Targeted by Pakistani Government
Why is the Pakistani government repeating the behavior of

and allowed the children there to starve for two days before
public protests led to the opening of food supply. Two

The Blessings of Friday {Al- Jumu'ah}
Ibn Kathir reported that Friday is called Al-Jumu'ah because
it is derived from Al-Jam~ literally, 'gathering'. The
people of Islam gather weekly on
every Friday in the major places of worship.
It was during Friday when ALLAH finished the creation,
the sixth day, during which Allah
created the heavens and earth.
During Friday, Allah created Adam, and he was placed in
Paradise, and ironically, it was a Friday when he was taken
out of Paradise.
It will be on a Friday when the Last Hour will
commence. There is an hour during Friday, wherein no
faithful servant asks Allah for something good, but Allah
will give him what he asked for.
[All of this is based upon Hadiths in the authentic
collections.]
In the ancient language Friday was called, 'Arubah.
It is a fact that previous nations were informed about
Friday,
but they were led astray from it.
The Jews chose Saturday for their day of worship
and the Christians chose Sunday, which is the day the
creation was
initiated. Allah chose Friday for this 'Ummah', because it
is the day
the creation was finished.
It has been authentically reported from the Prophet(Peace be
upon him) that he said: islam on The Blessings of "Friday"
in Islam
"Allah diverted those who were before us from Friday;
for the Jews (the day set aside for prayer) was Saturday,
and for the Christians it was Sunday.
And Allah turned towards us and guided us to Friday (as the
day of
prayer) for us. In fact, He (Allah) made Friday Saturday
and Sunday
(as days of prayer). In this order would they (Jews and
Christians)
come after us on the Day of Resurrection.
We are the last among the people in this world and we will
be the first
among the created beings to be judged on the Day of
Resurrection."

And every moving creature is listening on Friday, from the
time
it awakes in the morning, until the sun rises, due to fear
of the Hour,
except the jinn and mankind, and on this day, there is a
time when,
if a Muslim slave prays to Allah and asks Him,
He will give him what he asked for."
