Hadith of the Week

Narrated By Ibn Shihab Az-Zuhri:

Anas bin Malik said, "When the emigrants came Medina, they had nothing whereas the Ansar had land and property. The Ansar gave them their land on condition that the emigrants would give them half the yearly yield and work on the land and provide the necessaries for cultivation." His (i.e. Anas's mother who was also the mother of 'Abdullah bin Abu Talha, gave some date-palms to Allah's Apostle who gave them to his freed slave-girl (Um Aiman) who was also the mother of Usama bin Zaid. When the Prophet finished from the fighting against the people of Khaibar and returned to Medina, the emigrants returned to the Ansar the fruit gifts which the Ansar had given them. The Prophet also returned to Anas's mother the date-palms. Allah's Apostle gave Um Aiman other trees from his garden in lieu of the old gift

Three US Muslims Sentenced for non-Violent Support for Islamic State

Sentencing hearings are wrapping up for nine men convicted of plotting to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group.

The final three defendants — Guled Omar, Mohamed Farah and Abdirahman Daud — will be sentenced Wednesday. Prosecutors say the 22-year-old men are part of a group of friends in Minnesota's large Somali community who inspired each other to join the militant group.

Six men who pleaded guilty were sentenced on Monday and Tuesday.

Omar, Farah and Daud took their case to trial and were convicted of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, as well as a more serious count of conspiracy to commit murder outside the U.S.

That count carries a possible life sentence, but prosecutors are seeking sentences of 40 and 30 years.

This is a developing news update. The Associated Press' earlier story follows...

Three men were sentenced to prison Tuesday for plotting to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group, as a federal judge concluded the second day of sentencings in a case that shined a light on terror recruiting in the state.

Adnan Farah, 20, and Hanad Musse, 21, were each sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. Hamza Ahmed, 21, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for that count and another count of financial aid fraud.
All three were also given at least 20 years of supervised release.

They are among nine men in Minnesota's large Somali community who prosecutors say were part of a group of friends who inspired and recruited each other to join the militant group. Some of their friends made it to Syria, but the nine who were prosecuted did not.

Their sentencings come a day after three of their co-defendants were sentenced, including two who cooperated with authorities and were given lighter penalties. Farah, Musse, Ahmed, and the other man sentenced Monday all pleaded guilty but did not cooperate with prosecutors.

Three men who went to trial and were convicted on a more serious charge of conspiracy to commit murder outside the U.S. will be sentenced Wednesday. That count carries a possible life sentence, but prosecutors are seeking sentences of 30 or 40 years.

At his hearing, Farah, whose older brother is among those to be sentenced Wednesday, criticized the Somali community for not taking radicalization seriously. But prosecutors said he was shifting blame.

U.S. District Judge Michael Davis addressed the courtroom and said he has no doubt there is a jihadi cell in Minneapolis. He also addressed Farah's parents, telling them their children lied.

"I would never want to be in your place, having two sons that are going to go to prison," Davis said.

During his hearing, Musse apologized for lying to his family and said he committed a serious offense. The judge asked Musse directly whether he was a terrorist, and Musse replied: "I am a terrorist, your honor."

Musse, Ahmed and two other men took a Greyhound bus from Minneapolis to New York in November 2014 and were stopped by federal agents as they tried to travel overseas from JFK Airport, according to authorities. The men were being watched as part of an ongoing investigation into terror recruiting.

Ahmed told the court on Tuesday that he was grateful he was pulled off the airplane, acknowledging it probably saved his life. He also acknowledged that he has some work to do.
"I want you to understand I am not completely changed," Ahmed told Davis. "I'm in the process, but nobody changes overnight. I'm trying every day. I want to reach that point."

Davis, who has handled all of Minnesota's terror conspiracy cases, had the six defendants who pleaded guilty evaluated by a German expert on deradicalization and is taking those findings into consideration.

The investigation into terror recruiting in Minnesota is ongoing. The state has the largest concentration of Somali immigrants in the U.S. —numbering 57,000, according to U.S. Census data — which has been a target for recruiters. The FBI has said about a dozen people have left Minnesota to join militant groups in Syria in recent years. Before that, more than 22 men were recruited to al-Shabab in Somalia since 2007.

American Boys are Not Aware of Difference Between Consent and Assault in Dealing with Women.
Signs of a Social System which is Collapsing. What does Islam say?
by Sis. Aisha
[Jamaat al-Muslimeen]

American Society does not teach its boys anything about the human body, including how their body functions, nor sex.

Many Americans are still growing up believing so-called wives tales about what can cause or not cause a pregnancy. A huge problem in America is that boys are not being instructed on what constitutes consensual sex and what constitutes rape.

In 2000, while a sophomore, Nate Parker, the director for the new movie The Birth of a Nation, which is about Nat Turner's rebellions against slavery, was accused of rape while a student at Penn State University. He and a wrestling teammate/roommate, Jean McGianni Celestin, had sex with a female student. Both were later accused of having sex with her while she was drunk or unconscious. The accuser did go to a doctor, who determined that she had been sexually assaulted.

Nate Parker had been acquitted but his roommate, Jean McGianni Celestin was convicted. However, his conviction was overturned citing legal misconduct but the prosecutor declined to bring new charges against him in 2005 because the original trial witnesses were scattered all around the world. In 2012, the accuser committed suicide.

In 2015, a federal civil lawsuit was filed by another unidentified accuser in a rape case brought against NBA player Derrick Rose and his two friends (Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton). They were accused of drugging and gang raping her in her apartment on August 23, 2013. They maintained that the sex was consensual.

She was suing for $21 million but, on 10/19/2016, an 8 member Los Angeles jury acquitted the three men. What saved them was the accuser's sexting Rose and asking him to stop by her house for sex, as well as to bring back some items she had left at his home. It was discovered during the trial that the accuser's attorneys held on to this evidence, which was illegal. However, the Judge did not call a mistrial.

Group sex, casual sex, etc.., whether it is consensual or not, seems to be the trademark experience of the American kafir male. They are not taught anything about sex, certainly nothing about the morality of sex after marriage. These boys learn about sex from school, their friends, or the street. What is worse is how they all learn to mistreat women.

I remember watching date rape prevention videos in school and them teaching viewers that "no means no." Now, there seems to be a different scenario when a female is unconscious and raped. She does not get the option to give her consent or not.

College and the military have proven to be dangerous places for women. These environments are where men prey on women sexually. There are guys who get a thrill out of having sexual encounters with unconscious women. During these kinds of rape trials, the accused is always asked if they know the definition of consensual sex. Unfortunately, many defendants do not but it does not mean a crime was not committed.

What makes it worse is that the justice system tends to be lenient to people actually convicted of rape. For some reason, prosecutors are willing to offer very lenient plea deals, whereas with unarmed bank robbers they seek the maximum sentence.

The reason why these guys get into these pinches is because of the pervasive belief that fornicating is a male right. They also have no one to guide them on having a healthy moral relationship with a woman. They learn to view most women as sex objects with the sole purpose of satisfying their needs.

Derrick Rose was already in a relationship with his former fiance Mieka Reese, who gave birth to his son in October 2012. However, the court papers say that he was in an open relationship with his accuser from 2011 to 2013. There was definitely some overlap here since he had been dating Mieka Reese since before 2008, in high school. They are broken up, now. So, there are co-parents rather than husband and wife.

Many of these types of rape allegations (false or genuine) will continue to turn up because boys are not being educated properly and they are being encouraged to engage in immoral sexually deviant behavior. Unfortunately, it is not just the non-Muslim male. There are Secular Muslim boys who are being raised the good old-fashioned American way. Now, girls are following close behind with such ignorance.

In many instances, the kaafirun want to marry the chaste Christians/Muslims who maintained their chastity all of their lives. It's not right.

"You must not intermarry with them. Do not let your daughters and sons marry their sons and daughters," (Deuteronomy 7:3) and

"Wed not idolatresses till they believe; for lo! a believing captive is better than an idolatress though she please you; and give not your daughters in marriage to idolaters till they believe, for lo! a believing captive is better than an idolater though he please you. These invite unto the Fire, and Allah inviteth unto the Garden, and unto forgiveness by His grace, and expoundeth His revelations to mankind that haply they may remember." (Qur'an 2:221).

The Qur'an takes it a step further by adding: Surah an-Nisa 24:3 = "The fornicator may not marry except a female fornicator or polytheist, and the female fornicator none may marry her except a male fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful to the believers."
0
Note: It is advised that marriage between a non-fornicator and a repentant one is lawful, at some of the Muslim sites I have visited. It is important to gauge someone's opinion of premarital sex: Has he stopped doing it because he is now bored with it or is it because he considers it immoral?

Latest Khutba

 Dr Kaukab Siddique

What Impact will Trump's Presidency have on America's Muslims? Prepare for the Worst with Guidance from Qur'an & Hadith. America Needs Islam. Most Americans will Support us.

On November18, Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma khutba and led prayers at Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in Baltimore, Maryland. Its a small mosque, so the outline of the khutba is given here for distribution countrywide on the Internet.

Text

"If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion,"Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him,and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise." [The Quran 9:40]

  1. For decades America's Muslims were ruled by groups who claimed that they respected the rights of Muslims and were not at war with Islam. Meanwhile they bombed, invaded and occupied Muslim countries. They killed tens of thousands of Muslims, wounded and arrested millions and implanted dictators in Muslim countries.

  2. These ruling groups devised clever ways of manipulating, dividing and using Muslims against other Muslims. They claimed that those Muslims who opposed the West were either:
    1. Fundamentalists.
    2. Extremists or
    3. Terrorists.

  3. The rulers claimed that Muslims who did not oppose the West were the "real" Muslims. They invented terms like "moderate Muslims" and that "Islam is the religion of peace" to isolate and denigrate the Muslims who stood against the West.

  4. Prominent Muslims who refused to collude with the West were locked up or isolated and harassed. Little cliques of Muslims blindly loyal to the rulers were "recognized" as leaders of America's Muslims and supported by the massive Zionist media.

  5. The Zionists became over confident and were defeated by right wing Christian groups led by Trump on November 8.

  6. Trump issued provocative negative statements against minorities whom he saw as supporters of the Zionist establishment. . He came out openly against

    1. Black activists.
    2. Mexicans and other Hispanic immigrants.
    3. Muslims, especially new Muslim immigrants.

  7. Although Trump is now backpedalling his extreme statements, and may arrive at a decent level of behavior by January 20, there is great danger for those whom he criticized, in particular Muslims.

  8. Previous media propaganda against Muslims by the Zionists was largely ineffective because it came from Jews and Zionists who are not significant in the total 300 million population of America.

  9. Trump's invective and aura of suspicion and threat have reached the larger White population. If these millions of White people start trying to hurt Muslims, the threat level for Muslims will go out of control.

  10. My advice is as follows: Don't take every White person as an enemy or potentially threatening. Most people in America are decent people. The great work done by Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X has helped many White Americans to understand that Muslims and Black people are oppressed and not oppressors.

  11. Though we might face attacks, they will come from fringe groups of Whites but more crucially from people whom we might not easily notice, who look and talk like us. Check the role of informants in the previous administration.

  12. We must stand UNITED, foot to foot, shoulder to shoulder. Forget about your sects and Schools of Thought. We welcome all Muslims who accept the finality of prophethood, be they Hanafi, Maliki, Shafaii, Hanbali, Ahle Hadith or Jafari.

  13. We must maintain FAMILY UNITY. Care for your spouse, your children and relatives. There is no scope for internal conflict and mistreatment of women.

  14. Care for your NEIGHBORS and the needs of your neighbors. Give Sadaqa. Smile. See how our good relations with our neighbors have been that in 20 years, even a window pane of our mosque has not been broken. One Jew in this area wrote against us and a non-Muslim neighbor of ours went and reprimanded him.

  15. Be security conscious. No one should be able to infiltrate the masjid with a weapon.

  16. Remember that non-Muslims need us more than we need them. They are plagued by serious problems like:
    1. Alcohol.
    2. Drugs and Crime.
    3. Gambling [the plague of casinos everywhere].
    4. Racism.
    5. Violence against women.
    6. Random sex and divorce.
    7. Homosexuality [the final "gift" of the outgoing Zionist administration].
    8. Ongoing abuse, ridicule and insults against Jesus, pbuh, which have undermined Christianity.
    9. Coast to coast epidemic of pornography.
    10. Constant flow of funds to Israel and to "Muslim" dictators supporting Israel, which leave our inner cities bereft of civic development.

  17. So whenever possible, help our non-Muslim populations. Do not be afraid. Even in great and immediate danger, Allah revealed these words to the prophet, pbuh: Fear Not! Allah is with you.

Du'a: O Allah help us to study the Qur'an and the hadith every day and help us to be caring and compassionate.

Iraq: Week 5

A Week of Defeat for the US-backed Armada: videos of Tanks and Humvees Being Blown up.

Amiriat al-Faulujjah Police Force swiped out by Bomber.

November 13 to 20. The massive Iraqi Shiite armada backed by steady US air strikes could not move forward for a whole week. The regime forces entered the eastern edge of Mosul and held for a whole week but their attempts to move into Mosul met with serious setback as Islamic State mujahideen hit them with martyrdom operators in truck bombs, snipers and mortar fire.

The Shi'ite losses are heavy but western news sources say the regime is not giving out numbers but local medical sources noted steady stream of dead and wounded.

On its side, the Islamic State issued videos of tanks and Humvees in the Shi'ite armada being blown up.. The videos indicate mujahideen audaciously moving forward to attack the invaders with light machine guns.

On November 18, an IS human bomber it a gathering of regime police forces in Amiriat al-Fallujah, 35 miles south of the city of Fallujah. It was a wipe out with 40 police killed and 60 wounded. [Al-Jazeera]

On November 19, Iraqi regime forces reported that in the town of Qayyarah, south of Mosul, they were surprised by IS fighters landing from boats. The regime says it repulsed the attack. The town had been evacuated by IS about two weeks back.

Earlier in the week, there was an IS attack on security forces in the city of Fallujsah itself resulting in 14 dead.

IS is trying to divert the regime assault by daily bomb attacks in Baghdad itself.

Under US air strikes and tank assaults by the regime, IS is steadily suffering losses diminishing its small numbers. Most civilians are staying with IS and only 5000 have left Mosul out of fear of air strikes and long rang artillery. Amnesty International is reporting torture and abuse of the civilians by the regime forces.

On November 20 the regime forces are trying once more to move into Mosul. Shi'ite militias under Iranian control and training are moving forward to help the army.

The bombing has stalled the mujahideen attempts to capture parts of western Aleppo which are under Alawite and Kurdish control.

The front lines manned by FSA and al-Nusra have stopped any advance on Aleppo by Hizbullah and Shia militias.

TURKEY AND USA UNITED AGAINST ISLAMIC STATE.

Turkish led mercenary forces under cover of Turkish air force are advancing on IS capital al-Raqqa from thye northwest. From the northwest Kurdish Communists supported by the US air force are advancing on al-Raqqa from the northeast. Islamic State fighters have hit both sides hard but their advance continues slowly but steadily.
Turkish led attempt to capture El Bab was thwarted by an ISIS counterattack. The Kurds have captured
five villages.

Around Damascus the regime is hitting the surrounding towns held by mujahideen of FSA. Civilian casualties are mounting but the Alawites are unable to advance.

The Russians and the regime are also bombing Islamic towns in Idlib province held by al-Nusra.

ISIS forces are moving against Homs and Hama again but are coming under Hizbullah artillery and Russian bombing. Serious IS vs Assad fighting in southeastern city of Deir ez Zor.

Book Review

 Book Review

India needed Muslim scholars who would not teach Resistance. It found "Maulana" Wahiduddeen. A Valuable book about "Moderate Islam."
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD

Sareere Khama. Collected articles and Letters of Syed Wasi Mazhar Nadwi compiled by Muhammad Arshad, published by Fikr o Nazar Publishing, 43 Highbarry Cr., Kitchener, ON N2N 3P5, Canada., September 2010. 637 pages.

The book is in the Urdu language but an important aspect of it needs to be discussed in English because it relates to the propaganda against Islam in America which came under the rubric of "moderate Islam."

America did not want America's highly educated Muslim minority to speak against its aggression in the Muslim world. Wahiduddin was exactly the right person to soothe and de-activate the large Urdu speaking section of the American Muslim population.

Wahid made his mark in India before his "wisdom" was transported to America and spreads on a big scale, according to Nadwi.

India was elated when Wahid opposed the widespread Muslim protests against the destruction of Babri masjid by the Hindus.

He quickly made his mark in America in part owing to his admiration for Gandhi. No genuine Islamic person would admire Gandhi because Muslims know his hypocrisy and racism well and he could not fool Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.

Nadwi details Wahiduddin's attempts to undermine the Qur'an's teachings on Jihad and destroys Wahid's thoughts by comparing him with Iqbal and Maudoodi. Apparently Wahid was bent upon giving the Qur'anic verses meaning which was sheer distortion. Similar attempts were made earlier in Indian history by Mirza Ghulam Qadiani whose followers are known as "Ahmdeddis." With the emergence of Pakistan, Muslims became strong enough to declare Mirza and his followers as non-Muslims. However under the aegis of India, Wahiduddin flourished unchecked.

Nadwi took the trouble to analyze Wahiduddin's use of hadith to spread the concept of "moderate Islam." Nadwi is able to illustrate vividly that Wahid was dishonest. Wahid simply quoted hadith in such a way that he left out that portion of various hadith which make it impossible to preach "moderate Islam."

Islam does not accept the western way of life. Islam is compassionate and tolerant but it is a complete way of life which cannot be fragmented without being unIslam. There is no way around it.

Nadwi has some interesting comments on why intellectuals who were part of Jamaate Islami turn around and try to undermine its message. The case of Wahid and that of others like him is that they are not given cutting edge responsibilities in the Jamaat. They hang on as members of the Jamaat year after year before they cut themselves loose and take on a totally antagonistic viewpoint. These are supporters of Jamaat only in name but Jamaat gets blamed for the nefarious activities they undertake after leaving.

The irony of the book is that it includes numerous letters Nadwi exchanged with Ghamidi. These are boring inconsequential letters which indicate that Ghamidi was part of Jamaate Islami. Nadwi had no way of knowing that Ghamidi would follow the same process of detachment from Jamaate Islami which Wahiduddin did. Ghamidi too broke away from the Jamaat in recent years and is today teaching "moderate Islam" and is a vocal opponent of mujahedeen.

There is a middle class element in Jamaate Islami which admires the West and weakens and splits when the pressure increases.

Notice that Jamaate Islami did not carry out salatul janaza for Shaykh Usama bin Laden.

The book also contains considerable information about the lives of Pakistanis who have settled down in Canada, a western society which is undergoing social disintegration and the disruption of the family system.

Sareere Khama is a valuable book for Indo-Pakistanis living in western countries. It is a polite but devastating expose of "moderate Islam."

Indonesia:

Thousands rally against blasphemy in Jakarta. Tens of thousands in Jakarta demand the resignation of its governor who they say committed blasphemy.

 Jakarta

One person was killed as Indonesian police fired tear gas and water cannon to disperse tens of thousands of protesters who rallied to demand the resignation of the Christian governor of Jakarta for allegedly insulting the Quran.

At least seven people were injured in clashes between demonstrators and police, Jakarta police spokesman Awi Setiyono said on Friday.

An elderly man died, possibly from the effects of tear gas, said Setiyono, adding four civilians and three police officers were hurt.

Tens of thousands of protesters called for Jakarta's governor to be prosecuted for blasphemy in the massive demonstration. A sea of protesters wearing white robes took to the streets in a huge show of force against Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.

Indonesian capital on high alert ahead of anti-governor rally

Indonesian police fired tear gas to disperse protesters near the presidential palace, local televison reported.
Some protesters threw plastic bottles at officers who had formed a barricade.

The protest was triggered by accusations that Purnama, better known by his nickname Ahok, insulted Islam by criticising opponents who used Quranic references to attack him ahead of an election in February.

Purnama apologised for the remarks, but his opponents have built a groundswell of support calling for his arrest and incarceration under Indonesia's tough blasphemy laws.

"He is not Muslim but he humiliated the Quran," protester Muhammad Said told Reuters news agency. "Don't refer to anything in the Quran, especially interpreting it incorrectly... I call on God to jail him."

The military warned it was ready to back 18,000 police officers deployed if things turned ugly. Helicopters flew low over the city and extra soldiers were stationed at key government buildings reinforced with razor wire and armoured vehicles.

 Jakarta

Anger at Purnama, Jakarta's second Christian governor and the first from the country's ethnic Chinese community, spread beyond the capital with solidarity marches also held across Java and in cities as far away as Makassar in Indonesia's east.

Protesters called for Purnama's death as Friday's turnout - estimated by police at 50,000 - eclipsed a similar protest last month that drew 10,000 chanting demonstrators to city hall.

The demonstrators, led by a group called the Islamic Defenders Front, chanted "God is greatest" and waved placards calling for Purnama to be jailed for blasphemy.

A white banner hung at an overpass was painted with red letters saying "Hang Ahok here".

Police are investigating the case against Purnama, who has apologised for his remarks, insisting he was not criticising the Quranic verse but those who used it to attack him.

President Joko Widodo this week met religious and political leaders to issue a unified call against violence, while police sought to ease tensions by holding prayer sessions and broadcasting calls for peace on social media.

Widodo, known popularly as Jokowi, pressed on with business on Friday despite the much-hyped protest, meeting cabinet ministers and inspecting a train project, his spokesman Johan Budi said.

Indonesia is home to the world's biggest Muslim population, where a vast majority practise a moderate form of Islam. But the governor stoked religious tensions in September when he told a crowd they'd been "deceived" by his opponents who had used a Quranic verse to try to put them off voting for a Christian.

The governor - known for his tough-talking style - is hugely popular in other quarters for his determination to clean up Jakarta, an overcrowded, disorganised and polluted metropolis. Purnama became Jakarta governor in November 2014, but was not elected to the post. He was deputy governor and automatically became governor after incumbent Widodo was elected Indonesian president. Ethnic Chinese make up about one percent of Indonesia's 250 million people, and they typically do not enter politics.

"Healthcare at Auschwitz"
By Carlo Mattogno and Christoph M. Wieland

The famous Italian Holocaust survivor Primo Levi informed us in his eyewitness account Survival in Auschwitz that a number of sickbays and infirmaries etc. existed in the area of the Auschwitz camp. The present book gives an overview of the camp's organizational and historical development in this regard.

In the first part of this book, the author analyzes the inmates' living conditions as well as the various sanitary and medical measures implemented to maintain or restore the inmates' health.

The second part explores what happened in particular to those inmates registered at Auschwitz who were "selected" or subject to "special treatment" while disabled or sick. The comprehensive documentation presented shows clearly that everything was tried to cure these inmates, especially under the aegis of Garrison Physician Dr. Wirths.

The last part of this book is dedicated to the remarkable personality of Dr. Wirths, the Auschwitz garrison physician since 1942. His reality refutes the current stereotype of SS officers. In this context, the statements by the former communist concentration camp survivor Hermann Langbein are particularly revealing.
