Jamada al-Thani 25,1430/ June 19, 2009, # 30
From Imam Badi Ali:
Spotlight: The eyes and the Heart:
Physically, we see, but spiritually often we are blind. Islam emphasizes
the "heart" again and again. This is the spirit, the sense of right and
wrong, the morning star in the late night. The eyes are a gift from
Allah but so is the heart. If our "heart" is lost in the sea of desires,
we will be lost even if we think we have eyes and can see where we are
going. Let us remove the coverings, the layers of worldly distractions,
so that we can truly SEE with our hearts.

Pakistanis to support Pak Taliban and described the Pak army attacks on
Taliban as HARAM and clear violations of Islam.

What Should a Woman Expect when she embraces Islam? An Example
Every now and then men and women come to this masjid in central
Baltimore to embrace Islam.
On June 12, 2009 after Juma' Khutba and prayers led by Dr. Kaukab
Siddique , a young woman wanted to embrace Islam. The masjid was packed
with people, mostly Africans, Pakistanis and African-Americans. No one
left although usually most people leave after prayers right away owing
to job schedules.
Dr. Siddique asked the young woman:
Have you studied Islam? [Answer: Yes!] [A sister leader in the masjid
had taught her.]
Are you under any pressure of any kind to accept Islam. [Answer: No!]
Then he added:
You must understand that a Muslim woman is a very special person. She
is respected and honored by the community because she is the servant of
Allah. When you become Muslim you become part of the Islamic family,
extending all the way from this masjid to the 1.8 billion Muslims of

Friday, June 19, 2009: Tehran: Ayatollah Khamene'i, the spiritual
leader of Iran, addressed a gathering of more than two million at
the Friday [Jum'a] gathering. He analyzed and refuted the allegations
of the defeated candidates. Eleven million votes for President
Ahmedinajad above those of Mousavi, could not have been fabricated. He
warned the agitators not to break the law otherwise they will feel the
consequences. The massive crowd of historic proportions condemned the
role of foreign agents with thunderous slogans of : Murg bur Amrika,
burg bur Israel, murg bur Bartania [Britain].
Here is New Trend's analysis of the historic turning point in Iran.

Iran: The Uprising of the Rich and the Westernized: U.S. Media,
Iranian Immigrants and Tehran rallies Interconnected.
by Kaukab Siddique, Ph.D
To help readers understand the events of the last week in Iran, I'll go
back to my last visit to Tehran on the anniversary of Imam Khomeini.
The plane was full of westernized Iranians who seemed to have come
directly from the Iranian population in Los Angeles but would have been
equally at home in Paris. As the plane came in to land at Tehran
international airport, the women in the plane suddenly whipped out head
scarves from their hand bags and started putting them on. This was the
"torment" they had to go through owing to the Islamic dress code in Iran.
The next day, as I travelled through Tehran, I saw similar people lining
up at banks to withdraw their funds.
Gharabzadagi or westernization has been a persistent theme of
modern Iranian literature. The Shah, before he was overthrown, planted
pseudo-American enclaves in the major Iranian cities. Of these, the
most potent has been North Tehran where the affluence is enough to
sometimes outshine Beverly Hills. The revolution led by Imam Khomeini
has its power base in South Tehran among the poor and the working classes.
Iran did not try to scotch the slinky rich Iranian communities. The
revolution was fighting the Iraqi invasion for years. The original
leadership was largely decimated by America-linked terrorists like the
MKO. Their place was in some cases taken by the merchant class,
represented by Rafsanjani who is definitely not a revolutionary. When
the Iraqis were forced to withdrew from Iran, these elements advised
Imam Khomeini to continue the war into Iraq with disastrous consequences
for both Iraq and Iran. The Islamic forces suffered heavy casualties,
especially outside Basra, while the westernized groups grew more
organized and richer.
Thus the combination of the westernized and the pseudo-religious gave
13 million votes to Mousavi. Instead of taking this advance as a sign
of democracy and freedom, these groups decided to challenge the
revolutionary foundations of Iran.
The corporate-Zionist media in America played an important role. For a
whole week they tried to create the impression that Iran is coming
apart at the seams. Their process was as follows:
The role of President Obama: The U.S. president played the role
of masterly inactivity but it was very evident from his "inactivity"
that Mousavi's moves would, he hoped, at the least, weaken Iran.
Readers of New Trend might remember that the Israeli attack on
Hizbullah and Lebanon was backed by the U.S. The plan was to elminate
Iranian influence in the Arab countries. The U.S. wants to talk to Iran
and even to use it, but it wants a weakened Iran. The Mousavi game was
part of this process of weakening and, possibly, destabilizing Iran.
Censor the demonstrations in favor of Ahmadinejad.
No interviews with ANYONE supporting Ahmadinejad.
Daily, almost non-stop, 24-hour, coverage of Mousavi's rallies.
Anyone who could send an email photo or video from Tehran was assured
of coverage in the corporate-Zionist media of America. It was a natural
tri-lateral link up of the middle class in Iran, the Iranian immigrants
in the U.S., particularly Iranian Jews in the Los Angeles area, anf
The numbers of demonstrators were multiplied by the media every day,
till finally MSNBC was claiming a million demonstrators!
As the demonstrations continued, the ambitions of the American power
structure grew clearer. They wanted not only Ahmadinejad but Ayatollah
Ali Khamen'ei himself to be overthrown.
Obviously, the real target is Iran's Islamic base, the entire heritage
of Imam Khomeini.
The worn out arguments that Irani "mullas" suppress women, were trotted
out. The fact is that millions of Iranian women support Ahmadinajad and
The Israeli role: The Israelis are so much against Ahmadinejad
that they are willing to make [some] concessions on Palestine if
somewhow the Iranian nuclear program can be stopped. Intense hatred was
directed at Ahmadinejad by the well known supporters of israel in the
media. Rachel Maddow of MSNBC flat out labelled Ahmadinejad a
"Holocaust denier" and "theocratic dictator." [MSNBC June 16.] In
zionist language these are 4-letter words.
Fawaz Gerges, a well known Islam hater and bigot, was brought on by
Rachel Maddow and he declared that Iran is facing a "crisis of
legitimacy." [MSNBC June 15.] Even the discredited Fuad Ajami [Johns
Hopkins University] came out of the woodworks.
Advice to Iran: If my humble advice can reach Iran's leadership,
I would say:
Remember Imam Khomeini's warnings about relationship with America. The
softer you are on America and want to reach out to the White House, the
more danger of infiltration and intervention you face. The people in
power here are in ZIONIST CONTROL, literally the death grip of Jewish
elites who are egging America on to war. Obama needs you to destroy the
Muslims of Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan. You fell for it before and
helped America in both Afghanistan and Iraq and now you are silent about
Pakistan. This distance from the Islamic forces will isolate you and
then Zionist America will strike you. They are always waiting for an
opportunity. Hamas is a problem for them and by weakening you, they
remove even the moral support you give Hamas. Dear Iran, if you are
willing to have talks with Kuffar, with America [and thus
indirectly with Israel] why cant you talk to your Islamic brothers?
Why can't you talk to the Taliban and Shaykh Usama? Why not stop
all this propaganda against "wahhabies." The only people who can harm
Iran are the American-Zionist elites.
The facts on the ground: Mousavi did bring tens of thousands of
demonstrators into the streets. This should have been seen as an
expression of dissent and democracy. Instead the protestors, egged on
by agitators, decided to go against the foundations of Iran's
independence. The westernized class can bring even a hundred thousand
people into the streets. Their numbers have grown, reinforced by the
pseudo-religious "leaders" like Rafsanjani and Khatami. By contrast,
Ahmadinejad can bring MILLIONS into the streets. The westernized groups
should recognize their defeat and not try a coup. They won't last long
if they try any such foolishness. The masses of Iran will break them
and grind them into dust if it comes to the crunch.

U.S. Drones Hit two Pakistani villages: Three Turkish Muslims, 2
Arabs among 13 Killed
June 18, 2009: According to Pakistani Urdu language media, U.S. drones
fired nine missiles at suspected encampments of Pakistani Taliban
leader Mulla Nazir at two villages six miles from Wana in South
Waziristan. It was a sauccessful air strike. By last reports, the death
toll has risen to 13 killed and several scores of people wounded. Urdu
language sources say that among the dead are three Muslims from Turkry
and two from Arab countries.
Reports indicate that such attacks are counterproductive. The Waziri
Taliban led by Mulla Nazir have made an alliance with the Mehsud
Taliban led by Baitullah Mehsud owing to the anger against U.S.
U.S. observers say that these attacks are being carried out with the
full consent/cooperation of the Pakistani government.
Buildup of General Kayani's Forces: South Waziristan and
June 14-19: Pakistani forces are making no headway: Pakistani ground
forces are facing defeat in South Waziristan. They are hoping that
Taliban defenses can be broken by the use of heavy long range weaponry.
Pakistani tanks and armored vehicles have been ferried in large numbers
to the South Waziristan border. For 5 days straight Pakistani heavy
artillery has been pounding suspected Taliban positions while jet
fighters and helicopter gunships supplied by the U.S. have been hitting
Baitullah Mehsud's suspected strongholds.
In the Bannu-North-Waziristan area, the assault on the Jenikhel
tribes by Kayani's heavy artillery killed at least 200 people and
forced the Jenikhel Taliban to withdraw. Pakistani forces have entered
the Jenikhel area.
Pakistani media are reporting new fighting in Swat, Dir,
Buner and Mohmand areas. These reports are coming only
through Pak military sources. The government is keeping journalists out
to conceal the atrocities committed by artillery and helicopters against
civilians. The number of refugees displaced by the army has reached

Attempt to discredit Imam Badi Ali's Fatwa against Pakistan Army and
in Support of the Taliban: Response by Dr. Siddique
[In addition to the thousands of Muslims in America, Pakistan, Bangladesh,
UK, India and African countries countries to whom New Trend emailed
Imam Badi Ali's fatwa against the U.S.-backed Pakistan army's actions
and in support of the Pakistani Taliban's resistance, individual Muslims
have been distributing the Fatwa. Among them is Br. Shaikh Mohomed, a
Pakistani in England who sent the Fatwa to his list. From there it
reached a well-known Pakistani Islamic scholar Hussain Khan in Japan
who sent it to his list. On that list is one Dr. Omar Farooq in USA,
who is not of Pakistani origin. He could be linked to ICNA but we are
not sure. Dr. Farooq tried to oppose the Fatwa. Here is the text of his
letter to Dr. Khan, followed by Dr. Khan's note and Dr.
Fatwa, unless just an opinion of ANY person, should be coming from
qualified religious scholar. Here neither that is the case for Imam
Badi Ali nor is that National Islamic Shoora is a nationally
This is how we misrepresent ourselves and undermine our causes.
All foreign interverntions in the world in general and Muslim World in
particular needs to be opposed - actively and vigorously. However,
undertaking a resistance is one thing and being vanguard of Islam is
another. It is the latter thing for which Taliban cannot be supported,
if we really care about the Islam of the Qur'an and the Prophetic legacy.
It is an affront to circulate this kind of "opinion" as Fatwa and to
tout an organization as a national organization.

Hussain Khan, Tokyo
Dear Br. Hussain Khan
I doubt if Dr. Farooq knows anything about Imam Badi Ali. Nor does he
know anything about the National Islamic Shoora of Jamaat al-Muslimeen.
He perhaps did not tell you that the organizations known as ISNA, ICNA,
CAIR etc who claim to "represent" Muslims of America have confessed, in
their own publications online, that they have been working for EIGHT
YEARS with the FBI and still are.
It is not surprising that they cannot come up with a FATWA about the
terrible suffering of Muslims in Pakistan. Their views on the Taliban
are not very different from those of the U.S. government.
The last time these people gave a FATWA, they called on U.S. Muslims to
give a bloc vote for Bush. Thank Allah that they have shut up after that.
