CHRISTMAS IN PAKISTAN BELIES ZIONIST/HINDU PROPAGANDA
Jihad Movement Condemns Attack on Christians

AN ISOLATED INCIDENT OF ATTACK ON CHRISTIANS BY FRINGE ELEMENTS IS BEING PRESENTED IN THE WESTERN MEDIA AS AN ATTACK ON PAKISTANI CHRISTIANS. Most Pakistanis see this incident as an attack by Indian or Zionist agents or (as some say) even by government agents. ISLAM CONDEMNS SUCH ATTACKS.

On December 25, Christians, a very tiny minority in Pakistan, joyously celebrated Christmas. Leading Pakistani newspapers, such as the Urdu language daily NAWAE WAQT, printed Christmas greetings to Christians on the front page in multicolor.

Churches held services in peace and with due solemnity of the occasion. New Trend's representative visited a Christian church at the village level and fraternized with Christians offering them greetings for Jesus (pbuh) respect for whom is common to both Christianity and Islam.

Numerous Pakistani businesses are offering discounts to Christians on this special occasion. There is no fear or anxiety among Christians.

In sharp contrast to the treatment of MUSLIMS IN AMERICA, Pakistanis are not treating Christians as terrorist suspects or enemy agents. No one is telling them to leave for western countries from where priests come over regularly with funds for Pakistani Christians.

Some Muslims have advised Christian leaders to disassociate themselves from the attacks of Falwell and Roberstson on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Other than that, there is no pressure whatever on the Christians or the funding they get from America (although America is more unpopular today than ever before).

In the last couple of years, there were two incidents of attacks on Christian churches. Pakistanis outright condemn these attacks and many think these were carried out either by Indian agents or by government agents trying to defame the Islamic militants. The Jihad movement has urged Musharref to ensure that such incidents do not take place or should let the Islamic fighters defend the churches if it cannot do its duty as a Muslim government.

A couple of Pakistani Christians visited the U.S. last year and tried to help the Falwell types by exaggerating the one or two incidents in which Christians blasphemed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and faced severe punishment under law. Such fringe incidents are totally out of context with Pakistani realities. Churches are secure, Jesus is honored, Christianity is protected and integrated into Pakistani society.

Hatred of Christianity is unknown in Pakistan because a Muslim can never insult Jesus (peace be on him) and still claim to be Muslim. The insults against Jesus are coming from the Zionist Jews hostile to all religious values.
