Historic Visit with Leading U.S.-Based Muslim Activist
On February 2, as New Trend editor-in-chief, I visited Br. Mauri Saalakhan in Germantown. Br. Mauri, as we call him, is the most famous human rights activist in America. He has been consistently active in a wide range of human rights cases in this country.
His most famous effort has been on behalf of Pakistani political prisoner Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. To this end, he founded the Aafia Foundation. He visited Texas repeatedly to develop support for the woman who has become the symbol of suffering behind bars. She has endured torture, rape, abuse, and other forms of humiliation, but has not wavered in her deen.
In his fight to free Aafia, Br. Mauri made immense sacrifices, including of his financial resources, his status in society, his dignity, and his personal life.
For Imam Jamil Al-Amin, too, he cared greatly. He was very vocal, organizing educational conferences, rallies, and vigils all the way up to the imam's recent death by medical neglect in US custody.
In my interview with Br Mauri, I realized that he is the El-Hajj Malik Shabazz of our times.

Pakistani Leader Challenges American Policies, Condemns Trump's Moves as Lawless Thuggery
January 21 – Naimur Rahman, the Ameer (leader) of Jamaat-e-Islami, spoke extensively against Trump and his moves against Venezuela, Palestine, Iran, and other parts of the Muslim world. Jamaat-e-Islami is a mass movement in Pakistan, founded by the renounced Islamic scholar Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi.
Naimur Rahman spoke with eloquence in the Urdu language. Here are his main points:
Trump has trampled on all the rules of international law. His kidnaping of Maduro and his wife was a form of banditry. It illustrated that Trump thinks he is above all international law.
Iran is standing strong. Its internal problems do not give Trump the right to intervene militarily.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a fool of himself by presenting Trump as a peace maker, and repeatedly advocating for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Trump's Board of Peace is a new form of colonialism, which includes criminals like Tony Blair who were responsible for the destruction of Iraq. The stance taken by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs—that Pakistan announced support for the Gaza peace plan under a United Nations Security Council resolution—is contrary to the facts. Trump himself has stated that his Board of Peace could one day replace the United Nations. After such a position by Trump, what justification is there for Pakistan's participation in this board?

Conflict Rages in Baluchistan
January 30 – Heavy fighting has been occurring in the Pakistani province of Baluchistan. It appears that Baluch separatists have inflicted heavy losses. The Baluchis attacked military and police in twelve areas. They captured a deputy commissioner and freed 30 prisoners and captured weapons and ammunition.
Pakistan announced that it has inflicted heavy losses on Baluch "terrorists."
The question arises: Why doesn't Pakistan show photographs of the fighting? Also, the Pak army constantly claims that its opponents are from India or Afghanistan. But there is no evidence that those killed are not Pakistani.

Additionally, the mujahideen injured 23,536 occupation troops, including 20,093 US troops, 2188 UK troops, and 2071 Canadian troops. A large part of the war effort was conducted by contractors hired by the US government and its allies. Of these, 3917 were killed, and over 15,000 were wounded. (Keep in mind that injured occupation troops and occupation contractors are less likely to return to participate in occupation efforts.)

From Reason to Insanity
We, the people of knowledge and vision, have intellect and abilities to distinguish right from wrong and help others to avoid preposterous and erroneous myths of peace and conflict management. Contemporary leaders professing to be wise turned out to be foolish. A mythological criterion of exclusive power and false proclamations is at work to disguise the real agenda of the few despotic tyrants.
A comparative analysis of superpower's role in global affairs could reveal truth and falsehood. The end of 2025 and beginning of 2026 offers no optimism for sustainable change. Be it the US or Russia both appear indifferent to peace making. Why? The leaders propel their own agenda of political power reflecting a complex nature of cataclysm against people of Earth. They lost sense of rational thinking, humanity, peace, futuristic calamities and accountability to God.
Many false leaders perpetuate chaotic and subversive acts as evidence of tragic abnormality.
After four years, Ukraine and Russia still engaged in fierce battles. Despite two years of barbaric bombardments, Israel could not subdue the people of Palestine.
Truth is not transient or adaptable except Israeli extremist leaders could not govern without war and hatred of Palestinians.
Arab-Muslim leaders proved to be inept figures just paper-boys not mediators or leaders of moral and integrity.
They watched and witnessed crimes against humanity without any remedial action.
Their oil-driven modernity is just a misleading conception of life and normalcy.
None of the Arab-Muslim leaders showed courage and determination to challenge Israel and its plan of Arabian conquest.
The real agenda exposes the Israeli plan to expel the indigenous people of Palestine to embark on making a Greater Israel.

The official "secret" memorandum authored by Israel's Ministry of Intelligence had recommended the forcible and permanent transfer of the Gaza Strip's 2.2 million Palestinian residents to Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, namely to a refugee camp in Egyptian territory.
This was by no means "Voluntary. "There are indications of Israel-Egypt negotiations as well as consultations with the US.
War against Humanity and Earth
The Earth exists in space on the command of God and is a trust to mankind, not exclusive property of any states, superior ethnicity of white or black or corporations. War is a crime in a civilized context. What is the cure to raging indifference and cruelty to the interests of the whole of mankind? Denial of truth, the encompassing universe and floating Earth in space demonstrates that people deny the knowledge about God -The Creator of the worlds and life in all galaxies. Could learning the facts of life change our thoughts, behavior and pursuit of peace and conflict resolution? Would you think critically at the following Divine message (The Quran: 33:72):

The Israelite followers of Moses and progeny of Jacob – are reminded by God (Quran 2: 84-85): And remember, We took a Covenant from the Children of Israel (progeny of Jacob), Worship none but God; ....shed no blood among you, nor displace people from homes: and Ye solemnly ratified, And to this ye can bear witness.... It was not lawful for you to banish another party, then it is only a part of the Book that ye believe in.... The Western imperial networks export wars and sectarian conflicts across the oil producing Middle East countries. The contemporary Arab leaders live in darkness about Palestine and Israel and what future options could be imagined for peace and security. Wars, deaths and destruction are at the top-notch agenda items in relations between the West and the Arab world. Was the discovery of "oil" was a conspiracy ("Fitna") to forfeit the Arab culture and Islamic civilization? Arab -Muslim leaders lacked a sense of urgency and capacity to deter Israeli aggression and crimes against humanity. The UNO and all the Western world appeared dubious, treacherous and insane toward the sufferings of Palestinian people. They supported the rights of Palestinians but armed Israel to kill the innocent people. What do such crimes indicate about the nature of the society in which bloodbaths are taking place under the aegis of economic development and militarization? Do the paranoid Arab authoritarian rulers envisage an advanced culture of "modernity?" Wars are killing the people, destroying the planet and those who possess power exhibit no wisdom to dream of triumph and glory over human mind and soul. Brooklyn Woman Attacks Muslims
The NYPD has reported a rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes throughout the city.
Megan Horne, 34 years old, of Willowbrook Avenue in Staten Island, New York, attacked two adult women and hit a 12-year-old girl in the face. All three victims, who refused medical attention, were Hijabis. The attacks occurred on January 30th in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, after 2:30 pm, within a span of 11 minutes.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani expressed his outrage in a post on X (@NYCMayor) later that evening. He called these attacks "cowardly" and said, "This violence is unacceptable, and we know that all too often visibly Muslim, hijab-wearing women and girls bear the brunt of it. Muslim New Yorkers deserve to live with safety and dignity, and to be able to walk our streets free from harassment, threats, or harm. Islamophobia has no place in our city, and violence or intimidation against Muslim New Yorkers is unacceptable. "
Police charged Horne with assault as a hate crime, aggravated harassment as a hate crime, acting in a manner injurious to a child, and assault. However, none of the victims could identify her in photographs. She was previously arrested in an October 5th incident where she assaulted a 64-year-old woman, which was not classified as a hate crime. Police linked the Ford Bronco used in the hate crimes to someone at Horne's address, and she confessed she was the person in the surveillance videos, adding that she drinks a lot and does not remember the attacks.
Despite the prosecutor requesting bail for Horne, the judge decided to give her supervised release, provided she completes a 28-day inpatient alcohol treatment program.
I guess, the same way White people wanted to demonstrate their control over Black people, despite a Black president in the White House, the kuffar wish to send the same message to Muslims now that New York City has a Muslim mayor.

The Epstein Files Release Party
Politicians are playing games by releasing names of people who say they never met Jeffrey Epstein, as opposed to being an actual john or sex client.
Epstein's trafficking victims are the real catalysts in exposing him. But the do-nothings in the American government, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), initially refused to seriously prosecute him years ago, giving him a weaker sentence instead. His less than 10-month sentence was indicative of how unconcerned they were about Epstein's contact with foster children.
The following Epstein associates have been acknowledged for years: Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew of England's Royal Family, PayPal Co-founder Peter Thiel, etc. The DOJ has these files, and they are being selective in which files they release. Since the DOJ has these files, which took years for them to amass, they are fully aware of to whom Jeffrey Epstein sent his victims.
According to a Dan Treacy Sporting News article, NFL Quarterback Russell Wilson's name was revealed as being in an Epstein file. Russell Wilson responded in an X post, which read: "NOPE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not TODAY satan!" Wilson tweeted. "Some Random plane broker tried to sell me a plane. I had no idea whose plane and never bought the plane. Never talked nor Never met the man." It turns out that, in an email, Epstein's agent mentioned Wilson as a potential buyer of a plane Epstein owned.
Jeffrey Epstein was a financier who served as a financial advisor to many wealthy clients. To release names associated with someone responsible for such heinous acts against children is irresponsible. In Russell Wilson's case, the information was not worth mentioning. There must be some context given when these names are released. It can be damaging to be associated with such a monster!
MiddleNation's Shahid Bolsen believes that the drama over releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files is a farce. He says that the politicians demanding the files be released have no intention of giving Epstein's victims any justice, and that the fact that the DOJ is slowly releasing the files gives these same politicians an excuse for not doing anything. They can claim that they would go after Epstein's powerful clients if only they had ALL of the files, but they haven't prosecuted the clients they know about.
Any new names will just be added to the growing list of people they have no intentions of prosecuting.
He likened this farce to old cartoons where a character would dare an enemy to step over a line drawn in the sand. But once that enemy stepped over the line, a new line would be drawn, and the scenario would repeat.
Bolsen reminded viewers that tens of thousands of children in America go missing yearly, one of the highest rates in the world, and nothing is done about it. How can so many children disappear without a trace in a country with so much surveillance?
America's history of not seeking justice, such as in the case of lynchings, ICE's recent murder of Americans, and assaulting immigrants in unprovoked attacks, has resulted in no arrests. In America, the justice system prioritizes one group of people over others, and that is the biggest problem: No humanity. America has no moral framework or structure.

Many non-Muslims have asked this question, that why the fish has been declared Halal without being slaughtered. The answer too, lies in science.
Allah Almighty created everything in perfect balance. The moment the fish is taken out of the water, the entire blood of the fish redirects and moves into a part called the epiglottis, which is in its mouth — draining the blood from the whole body and leaving the meat pure and Halal.
