Canada: Prisoners Seek Justice for Illegal Torture and
Solitary Confinement up to 1,400 days
The Case of Momin Khawaja in Solitary Cell for 1400 days
Is there an equal and a fair system of legal justice in
Canada? Canada had a global image of peace and protection
of human rights. A recent Legal Class Action (Federal
Administrative Segregation Class Action" (Brazeau v Canada,
Reddock v Canada, Gallone v Canada), on behalf of several
hundred prisoners against the federal government spells out
inherent dubious policies and practices covering the
solitary confinement and torture.
Mohammad Momin Khawaja had no previous criminal record and
under the 'Anti Terrorist' laws Section 81 and 83 of the
criminal codes, Canadian trial Judge Rutherford sentenced
him to 10.5 years (5 years for parole) on Five counts of
charges but the Supreme Court of Canada increased it to Life
and 24 years - a slow death without a crime. Lawrence
Greenspan, Legal Defense Team called it a "harsh sentence."
Momin was acquitted of alleged involvement in the London
case. He has spent 20 years in jail without a bail.
Momin Khawaja graduated in Sociology, an enthusiastic
journalist, and author of academic books: Women in the
Ancient World (9786206145745 Textbooks Amazon), and
Philosophy and Ethics and published historically documented
analytical article: "North American Colonization of
Indigenous People, Cultures and System of Social
Welfare."
Maher Arar, another victim of Canadian police complicity, an
engineer of Syrian-Canadian citizenship was arrested in the
US and tortured with Canadian secret police help according
to the findings of a commission of inquiry ordered by the
Canadian government. Canadian police denied it role in the
arrest and torture of Maher Arar but after the inquiry, PM
Stephen Harper formally apologized to Arar for Canada's role
in his "terrible ordeal."

While a prisoner at St. Anne des Plaines Security Prison,
Quebec (January 2012), Momin Khawaja was attacked by another
inmate with boiling water and major parts of his body were
burnt. No official investigation of the incident was
conducted and he was kept in a solitary confinement
continuously for 1400 days in clear violation of the
Canadian Bills of Rights and International Law. Complaints
made to the Canadian PM Trudeau, Minister of Security and
Correctional Canada ended-up in deafening silence. The
Canadian Security Minister spokesperson claimed that they
never kept anybody in solitary cell for more than 72 hours.
Are they so abhorrent to professional wisdom and
accountability not to notice the difference between 1400
days and just 72 hours of Solitary confinement? Now in a

of violating the rights of inmates in Ontario and Quebec -
Momin Khawaja was represented by a legal counsel. The
Government originally denied the scheme of torture and
solitary confinement.
Glenn Greenwald ("New York Top Court Highlights the
Meaningless Menace of the Term Terrorism." The Guardian:
December 16, 2012), is a lawyer and internationally known
American journalists, and exposed the American Snowden story
to the global community offered this assessment:
"But that's what has happened in the post-9/11 era: a whole
new system of "justice", with all new rules designed to
ensure convictions and long prison terms, have been invented
exclusively for those facing "terrorism" charges. And since
the term "terrorism" has no discernible meaning other than
"acts of violence committed by Arabs and/or Muslims against
westerners", this illustrates why New York Times editorial
page editor Andrew Rosenthal was exactly right when, under
the headline "Liberty and Justice for non-Muslims", he
wrote:
[I]t's rarely acknowledged that the [9/11] attacks have also
led to what's essentially a separate justice system for
Muslims. In this system, the principle of due process is
twisted and selectively applied, if it is applied at
all."
The Fallacy of "Momin Khawaja- a Mechanism of
Radicalization"
Are there any limits to cruelty? British author and producer
Adam Curtis ("The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the
Politics of Fear", BBC documentary challenging the American
version of 'War on Terrorism'), pointed out clearly:
"international terrorism is a fantasy that has been
exaggerated and distorted by politicians. It is a dark
illusion that has spread unquestioned through governments
around the world, the security services and the
international media."

The Canadian intelligence agency in collaboration with the
US Homeland Security sponsored the project of "Mo min
Khawaja- Mechanism of Radicalization" with tax payers money
to set-up their own project, appointed themselves as judges
of the tribunal, invented lies and delivered their own
judgment of"radicalization" without a defense argument. This
was not a charge in the court proceedings. They manufactured
lies and never sought any factual evidence and generated the
necessary data to cover-up the travesty of justice of
Life-24 years sentence- a complete violation of civilized
principles of Law and Justice and as Glenn Greenwald noted:
"essentially a separate justice systems for Muslims."
The project unleashed a disingenuous and fake narratives of
Momin - someone to hate and someone to fear. Momin Khawaja:

does not mention attack on Momin with boiling water and that
he was tortured and kept in solitary cell for 1400 days. If
Momin was not a Muslim, this project would not have
happened. The authors of "radicalization" scheme shattered
the public image of academics being responsible people of
moral, intellectual and professional integrity.

for material support of terrorism. He was arrested i...
O' Canada- the national anthem echoes " glory us..." but
glory lives in the conception of good and solidarity of
people not in perpetuated violations of people's rights and
dignity and secret police intrigues. Canada's political
leadership needs to look ahead not to look back to the
historic colonization of the indigenous people and cultures
and now persecution of visible minorities but to a new
beginning of equal justice for all. Justice is NOT the
exclusive property of police or judges but a shared
civilized public value to make it happen.
Human lives destroyed by the planned tyranny of solitary
confinement and torture cannot be restored with paper money.
To restore reasoned justice and to rehabilitate and
compensate those prisoners of this terrible inhuman tragedy,
Canadian PM Trudeau and Minister of Justice and Security
should immediately free the victims of torture and solitary
confinements. Would the Canadian Law and Justice rethink and
reevaluate its systems of justice and take necessary
remedial actions to restore a civilized norm of legal
justice to all?

The events in France following the death of a 17-year-old
shot by police in a Paris suburb are drawing parallels to
the racial reckoning in the U.S. spurred by the killings of
George Floyd and other people of color at the hands of law
enforcement.
Despite the differences between the two countries' cultures,
police forces and communities, the shooting in France and
the outcry that erupted there this week laid bare how the
U.S. is not alone in its struggles with systemic racism and
police brutality.
"These are things that happen when you're French but with
foreign roots. We're not considered French, and they only
look at the color of our skin, where we come from, even if
we were born in France," said Tracy Ladji, an activist with
SOS Racisme. "Racism within the police kills, and way too
many of them embrace far-right ideas so ... this has to
stop."
In an editorial published this week, the French newspaper Le
Monde wrote that the recent events "are reminiscent" of
Floyd's 2020 killing by a white Minneapolis police officer
that spurred months of unrest in the U.S. and
internationally, including in Paris.
"This act was committed by a law enforcement officer, was
filmed and broadcast almost live and involved an emblematic
representative of a socially discriminated category," the
newspaper wrote.
The French teen, identified only as Nahel, was shot during a
traffic stop Tuesday in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. Video
showed two officers at the window of the car, one with his
gun pointed at the driver. As the teenager pulled forward,
the officer fired once through the windshield.
Nahel's grandmother, who was not identified by name, told
Algerian television Ennahar TV that her family has roots in
Algeria.
Preliminary charges of voluntary homicide were filed against
the officer accused of pulling the trigger, though that has
done little to quell the rioting that has spread across the
country and led to hundreds of arrests. The officer said he
feared he and his colleague or someone else could be hit by
the car as Nahel attempted to flee, a prosecutor has
said.
Officials have not disclosed the race of the officer. His
lawyer said he did what he thought was necessary in the
moment. Speaking on French TV channel BFMTV, the lawyer said
the officer is "devastated," adding that "he really didn't
want to kill."
Nahel's mother, identified only as Mounia M., told France 5
television she's not angry at the police in general. She's
angry at the officer who killed her only child.
"He saw an Arab-looking little kid. He wanted to take his
life," she said.

Rudolf was a highly respected chemist with a promising
career—a graduate of the Max Planck
Institute—who made the "mistake" of telling the truth
at a place (Germany) and time (during court) when lies are
the only permissible public statements about the Holocaust.
When informed he would be sent to prison for his factual
testimony made during a law case involving the Holocaust,
Rudolf went underground. He ended up in America, fell in
love, and was wed to his U.S. citizen sweetheart.
However, in late 2005, Rudolf—now a peace activist and
publisher—was kidnapped by the U.S. government and
deported to Germany to face charges of "Holocaust denial."
There he was put on trial for his historical writings.
During this trial, his defense lawyers were prohibited under
the threat of prosecution from filing motions in support of
Rudolf's historical views. All motions filed by Rudolf's
defense team directed at proving that his writings are
scientific in nature and are therefore protected by the
German constitution were rejected by the court. Academics
willing to confirm as expert witnesses the scholarly nature
of Rudolf's writings were barred from testifying.
Confronted with this kafkaesque situation, yet undaunted,
Rudolf gave a brilliant speech in court that lasted seven
sessions. In it, he elucidated what science is and how to
recognize its exemplars. He proved that his writings
undoubtedly qualified. He demonstrated moreover why the
German laws designed to suppress peaceful dissidents are
unconstitutional and in violation of human rights.
Furthermore, he explained in detail why it is everyone's
obligation to resist in a non-violent way a state which
throws peaceful dissidents into dungeons.
The court was hardly moved by Rudolf's arguments. It
sentenced him to 30 months imprisonment and ordered Rudolf's
magnum opus, the German edition of his Lectures on the
Holocaust, to be confiscated and burned under police
supervision. In addition, the public prosecutor initiated
another criminal investigation against Rudolf, because he
had tried to publish his defense speech from his prison
cell.
After Rudolf had served his full prison term, he was
released from prison in the summer of 2009 but also put
under a three-year lasting "conduct supervision" by the
German authorities. After this restriction was rescinded in
the summer of 2011 due to his emigration to the U.S., his
defense speech in support of liberty finally saw the light
of day. The book also contains, among other things, a
comprehensive documentation of the motions rejected by the
court as well as two expert reports of historians who could
not testify. Additionally, it is illustrated with a number
of gorgeous drawings prepared by Rudolf during his time in
prison (in this print edition reproduced in black &
white).
Hardly two years later, however, the German censorship
authorities banned the German edition of this book because
it demands freedom of speech for historical dissidents...

Muslims should try to understand the implications of hate by
the west related to the incidents of burning the Qur'an, the
book which is most important for the lslamic faith.These
incidents of arson of what is holiest and central to Islam
are acts global war.Though these acts of arson are seemingly
individual and isolated, they are cleverly defended by the
western powers under the rubric of "freedom of
expression."Thus the entire western world is saying that
these acts are reprehensible but cannot be seen as cultural
genocide because we need freedom of expression.The Muslim
regimes have limited themselves to expressions of dislike,
distaste and sometimes disgust.All the Muslim countries have
armies but none of them have expressed any desire to use
their armies to defend the sanctity of the Qur'an. Turkey
has given a slight indication that it might do something but
it kept it very vague.
Thus these armies are not willing, even parenthetically, to
defend the sanctity of the Qur'an. Are there any
non-military means available to stop blasphemy against the
Qur'an?Saudi Arabia could cut off supply of oil, in part or
in whole, as King Faisal once did.
Business with western countries could be stopped. Companies
like Nestle and Coca-Cola are thriving In the Muslim
world.
Embassies of western countries should be closed down.
Most toxic are relations with Israel.
The war in Ukraine has shown that western powers are
interconnected.
Preachers and orators should awaken the Ummah.Remember when
Shaitan Rushdi insulted the Prophet, pbuh, Ayesha, r.a.,
and the Qur'an, imam Khomeini shut Rushdi down with his
fatwa.
The western powers didn't oppose Rushdi or put him on trial
or even advise him. Instead they protected him and spent
millions millions on keeping him safe. Now they are

Rushdi covered his abuse with a fictitious story but Qur'an
burning is a direct attack. Don't take it as isolated
actions of lunatics. These are steps in the overall
destruction plan by erosion of the sanctity of the Qur'an

Dozens of people have stormed the compound of the Swedish
embassy in Iraq's capital, Baghdad, after a Quran was burnt
during a protest in Sweden.
Salwan Momika, said to be an Iraqi living in Sweden, set
fire to a copy of Islam's holy book outside Stockholm's
central mosque on Wednesday.
The Quran burning was condemned by many Muslim-majority
countries.
A crowd gathered outside the embassy in Baghdad on Thursday
after a powerful cleric called for an "angry" protest.
An AFP news agency photographer at the scene said the crowd
briefly entered the building and remained inside for about
15 minutes before leaving when local security forces were
deployed.
Muslims consider the Quran the sacred word of God and view
any intentional damage or show of disrespect towards it as
deeply offensive.
The Quran burning on Wednesday took place as Muslims around
the world celebrated the first day of Eid al-Adha, one of
the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar.
Swedish police had given Mr Momika a permit for the protest,
in accordance with free-speech laws. But later police said
the incident was being investigated for incitement of
hatred.
The incident has also sparked anger in other Muslim-majority
nations including Turkey - a Nato member which has a say
over whether Sweden also gains membership.
Turkey - which was also angered by a Quran burning protest
earlier this year - said it was "unacceptable" to allow such
"anti-Islamic actions" to take place "under the pretext of
freedom of expression".
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: "We will eventually
teach the arrogant Westerners that insulting Muslims is not
freedom of thought."
Middle Eastern nations including Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia
and Egypt strongly criticised the burning.
Morocco and Jordan have recalled their ambassadors to
Stockholm, and Morocco has also summoned Sweden's charge
d'affaires in Rabat.
Iraq said the incident was "a reflection of a hateful
aggressive spirit that has nothing to do with freedom of
expression."
Iran echoed Iraq's criticism, calling the act of burning the
Quran "provocative" and "unacceptable", while Egypt
described it as a "shameful" act which was especially
provocative as Muslims mark Eid al-Adha.
Saudi Arabia - the destination of around 1.8m worshippers on
the annual Hajj pilgrimage this week - said "these hateful
and repeated acts cannot be accepted with any
justification."
Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said the Quran
burning was "legal but not appropriate".
Plans to burn copies of the Quran have sparked riots in
Sweden in recent months.
Police had rejected similar protest applications recently,
but courts then ruled that they should be allowed on freedom
of expression grounds.

Are LGBTQ homos Becoming stronger?

"Do not be deceived by the prosperity of the disbelievers
throughout the land. It is only a brief enjoyment. Then
Hell will be their home—what an evil place to rest!

This year, 2023, I saw "pride" flags everywhere. Their
number of allies seemed to have increased. I saw pride
flags with messages stressing "All are welcome."
My question is: Who is excluding the LGBTQ? The word
inclusion, which was originally used to address
discrimination again non-whites, is now used solely for the
LGBTQ community.
Everywhere I turned, I saw a rainbow flag on some edifice:
hospitals and churches, mostly. But, of course, businesses
jumped on the gay pride bandwagon. I noticed that no
churches in the areas of Harlem I visited had any "pride"
flags and neither did any Catholic churches.
There was definitely a meeting and an agreement that
Episcopal, Presbyterian, and Christian Science churches were
going to promote the gay pride culture. This Christian
defiance astounds me. I guess, they believe Scripture is
dated? Of course, I am sure, that not all members agree
with this new allegiance with the LGBTQ.
There was a dynamic showcase hosted by New York Transit. It
was a segment called, "15 Seconds of Fabulous," which
showcased the bio of a notable gay person every 15 seconds.
Shopping malls and most of the Madison Avenue boutique shops
had rainbow-colored font or a rainbow flag prominently
displayed at the entrance.
I think the church and medical industry support further
validate the LGBTQ lifestyle. So, now, the once biggest
critics of the LGBTQ lifestyle are now its biggest
supporters. Shai'tan has created the illusion that
challenging the LGBTQ lifestyle, especially transgender,
would be futile given such strong support.
The biased media has successfully chosen racist, sexist,
xenophobes as the ONLY opposers of the LGBTQ thereby
grouping logical, God-conscious opponents right along with
them.
In spite of all of the new support for the LGBTQ community,
I did not see any "pride" flags on any Catholic churches nor
on any churches in the Harlem areas I visited. So, maybe
not everyone has sold out to Shai'tan.
