America's Attempt to create a New "Islam": Why did it succeed in the Sheikhdoms?

SHOULD A WOMAN OR A MAN TRAVEL ALONE? HADITH ANSWERS

Some male scholars say that if a wife leaves the house for any reason, she must ask her husband's permission. They say that even the woman's voice is "awrah" and should not be heard. If she travels, her husband or a male relative must accompany her. What do the Qur'an and the Hadith really say?

Answer by Br. Kaukab Siddique: We must realize that according to the Qur'an, authority belongs to ALLAH ALONE. [1] Any attempt to give authority to any human being is SHIRK, which is the only sin Allah does not forgive.

The Qur'an is a progressive revelation, which went through stages of development of the Muslim woman and the Muslim male. In the final analysis, male-female relations in Islam are based on TAQWA [Fear of Allah, God-conscious behavior], not on gender. [2]

In the FINAL revelation about men and women, the Qur'an proclaimed without ambiguity that the believing men and women are EACH OTHER'S protecting friends and guardians, not the woman under the domain of the male. [3]

In times of insecurity and war, in long journeys, the Prophet, pbuh, ordained that a woman should travel with her husband or a male relative. The intent of this was to help the woman and to provide security, not to put the woman under the control of her husband.
Some scholars who argue that the wife must obey the husband use the issue of travel.

There is a whole series of omissions, either dishonest or out of ignorance, carried out to use this issue. The following Hadith is quoted:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, " It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel except with a Mahram." [Bukhari]

However, that is not the complete Hadith. Here it is with the key words in bold type: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, " It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a Mahram." [Bukhari]

One day and night connotes a long journey. Nowadays, one can travel halfway around the world in a day and a night. This is certainly not about a woman going shopping or to meet her friends down in the city. In those days, it was dangerous and one could lose life, goods and honor to bandits on the way. There were no highways or electric lights on the sandy desert.

However, the misuse of Hadith does not end there. These scholars do not note the context and do not let anyone know that restrictions were put on males too. Here are the relevant Hadith:
The Prophet, pbuh, said: " Travel is a kind of punishment. It limits food, drink and sleep. When you have completed the requirements of travel, return quickly to your family." [Bukhari and Muslim.]

MISUSE OF THE PROPHET'S (PBUH) WORDS
The Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, spent much of his life in Madinah in jihad. He traveled extensively for jihad and hence there are numerous hadith about travel and its rules.

It's a shame for some modern Muslims and who have never spoken against the oppressors, let alone gone for jihad, to use the words of the greatest liberator of women, Muhammad Mustafa, pbuh, to subjugate women.

SHOULD A MAN TRAVEL ALONE?
When a man went out for a journey, his life was often in danger. Here is another Hadith on the subject, which stops men from going forth alone:

The messenger of Allah, pbuh, said: " A horseman going alone is satanic. If there are two going by themselves, they are two Satans. And three is the proper [recommended] caravan." [Sunan of Abu Dawood and Sunan of Nasa'i]

The messenger of Allah, pbuh, said; " If people knew what I know about the bad aspects of traveling alone, no one would travel alone at night." [Sahih Bukhari]

The Islamic solution, the Prophet, pbuh, gave was excellent but we Muslims have forgotten it. Where possible, especially where satanic forces are at work, Muslims should travel in groups, even if these are very small groups, and the traveling should be well organized:

The messenger of Allah, pbuh, said: " When three of you travel, make one of your companions the ameer." [Sunan of Abu Dawood]

We are living in times where travel conditions are being affected by the antagonistic activities of our enemies. So go forth prepared: Someone asked the messenger of Allah:"O messenger of Allah, I have the intention of travel. Please advise me". He [the messenger, pbuh,} replied: " The fear and awareness of Allah [taqwa] should always be with you, and at every high point [in the journey] say takbeer!" [Sunan of Tirmidhi]. [8]

JI Sit In [Lahore government center]
Oppression of Women & Children

by Qaiser Sharif

Declaring the present regime as the most incapable in history of the country, Senator Siraj ul Haq, JI Amir said the PTI disappointed the masses and deceived them in a way that was not witnessed earlier although former rulers were not less responsible for the destruction of the country.

He said tall claims were made by the prime minister to bring reforms in every sector but his government had not introduced a single reform in any sector in past two years. The biggest province of the country, he said, was presenting a pathetic situation of governance as its every sector was on the verge of collapse due to incapability and incompetence of the team imposed by the prime minister on Punjab.

"We gather here to record out protest against the increasing rate of rape incidents and Punjab government's complete failure to provide safety to the masses," he said, adding the PTI government made it impossible for the children and women to go outside of their homes. A law of jungle was prevailing in the country and rulers were in deep slumber, he regretted.

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ameerul Azim, Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch, Jamaiat Ahle Hadith Head Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer and other leaders also spoke on the occasion.

Azim said the PTI government's made countless blunders after coming into power in every sector from economy to foreign policy. He said the government failed to introduce reforms in the NAB and launch across the board accountability process.

Baloch said the Motorways rape incident was horrific and exposed the government and law enforcement agencies' inability to provide protection to the masses. He said the enforcement of system based on the brilliant principles of Islam was the solution to the problems facing the country.

A large number of people including women and children holding banners and placards in condemnation of women's and children's abuse and other heinous crimes participated in the sit-in. They shouted slogans against incapable rulers and demanded severe punishment for the criminals involved in the heinous crimes.

Kashmir

 Free Kashmir

Pakistan was not only the dream of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah but it also guaranteed freedom of the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the protection of the Indian Muslims.

The AJK President Sardar Masood Khan has said that an economically and militarily strong and stable Pakistan was not only the dream of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah but it also guaranteed freedom of the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir as well as the protection of the Indian Muslims.
"The principles of faith, unity and discipline set by the great leader is a prerequisite to turn Pakistan into economic power and to make it invincible in terms of defense," he declared.

While talking to delegations from different strata of life here, he said that faith, unity and discipline was not merely a political slogan of the great Quaid, but he had personally followed this principle in letter and spirit in his political struggle, and through the inception of Pakistan, he practically proved how much the faith, unity and discipline of the nation were imperative to achieve the goal.

The AJK president said that Quad-e-Azam was the well-wisher and benefactor of the Kashmiri people in the real sense because he was firm to make Kashmir part of Pakistan, and to materialize the dream of granting democratic, constitutional economic rights to the people of the state. He had visited Kashmir in 1926, 1929, 1936 and 1944, closely watched the plight of the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir, and raised his voice for their political, religious, and socio-economic rights, he added.

Sardar Masood Khan said that in turn, the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir also firmly believe in the political acumen of Quaid-e-Azam and love him.

Citing a message of Quaid-e-Azam to the Kashmiri leadership in 1946 that is one year ahead of the creation of Pakistan, the state president said that in his message, the great leader had called upon the Kashmiri leadership to make their people well disciplined in educational, socio-economic and political terms, and the struggle for their rights selflessly and firmly, and then no power on the world would be able to deny freedom and legitimate rights to them.
Describing Kashmir liberation struggle as a continuation of the two-nation theory, the AJK president said that the worst discriminatory treatment being meted to Kashmiri people and Indian Muslims under the Hindutva agenda has once again proved the political sagacity and farsightedness of Quaid-e-Azam and his colleagues.

Now even pro-India political parties and leaders of occupied Kashmir are realizing the authenticity of the two-nation theory, he said and made it clear that the two-nation theory does not mean denying the rights of non-Muslims and minorities in Kashmir.

The AJK president said that in the history of the Jammu and Kashmir state, the Hindu pundits have always been living in peace with the Muslims, and they have not only been appointed on top government positions but discriminatory treatment has also been never extended to them on a religious basis.

"It is high time that the whole nation follows political principles of Quaid-e-Azam," he said adding that the liberation struggle of the Kashmiri people can never succeed nor a safe future of the Muslims of South Asia can be ensured without a strong Pakistan.

Turkey
Erdogan did a great favor to Trump
On September 17, Turkish security forces arrested 16 supporters of the Islamic State.in Ankara.

While reporting these arrests, the daily Sabah which supports Erdogan noted that Turkey had captured an IS Iraqi operative in Syria and handed him over to the US security in Iraq. After that Trump launched that attack in which the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was cornered and killed in Syria. [Probably the Iraqi IS man was tortured to disclose the information on Abu Bakr,] [New Trend notes that this killing was used by Trump for his popularity just as Obama had used the assassination of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.

This killing helps observers to understand why Erdogan has such a friendly relationship with USA and Israel as well as with Russia. Erdogan uses public relationship to gain popularity in Pakistan but also keeps his other leg with the enemies of Islam.]

Three cities remain in Islamic hands in northern Mozambique. Sharia is being implemented.

(BBC is expressing extreme anxiety over these events. It is giving a very secularized reasoning for the Islamic victory: lack of jobs, mistreatment of Muslims, etc. They never admit Islam as the source.)

Lawyers opt for paycheck over justice in Breonna Taylor case.
by Sis. Aisha, Jamaat al-Muslimeen

On March 13th 2020, Breonna Taylor was murdered by police serving a "no-knock" warrant.for her ex-boyfriend, who lived miles away. Since her murder, there have been many protests. Many professional athletes have been wearing her name on the back of their helmets or uniforms. All of this publicity surrounding Taylor's murder paid off for her family's attorney: Benjamin Crump!

On September 15, 2020, Louisville, Kentucky Mayor Greg Fischer announced a whopping $12 million settlement to Breonna Taylor's family. This settlement also includes a "slew" of reforms in the police department where the officers worked. One of the reforms requires more oversight by top commanders. That does not sound like any significant reform.

Seeing the photo with attorney Benjamin Crump and Rev. Al Sharpton standing with Breonna Taylor's family makes me suspicious about any efforts to arrest these police officers. According to Community Cop co-host Michael Greys, Benjamin Crump gets one-third of that $12 million settlement. Community Cop co-host Noel Leader stated that Crump is allowed to travel and work in all fifty states, which is unprecedented for an attorney to do. But, he is allowed to do this because he has agreed with prosecutors to focus only on a financial settlement rather than the prosecution of criminal cops.

Normally, wrongful death settlements occur after arrests and convictions have been made because that is proof of wrong-doing. But, what has been happening in police murder cases is that families are reaching settlements without there being any officer terminations, arrests, or convictions? This is highly irregular! The victims' families are probably not aware that this strategy sabotages any efforts for seeking justice.

This case was settled too quickly, as well. Just six months! It usually takes years.

According to Community Cop:

  1. The Louisville mayor and district attorney stated that the police officers were not wearing bodycams during the raid but, photos of them show that they were.

  2. The officer who requested the "No-Knock" Warrant stated that the area postal inspector told him that mail carriers delivered drugs to that address. The postal inspector stated he never told that officer anything like that.

  3. There was an attempt to bully Breonna Taylor's ex-boyfriend into saying that she was involved with his illegal drug operations but, he refused. He has since been arrested on drug charges.

Even after all this information came out about this case, attorney Benjamin Crump did nothing but go for the paycheck. So, I have no confidence in any said "effort" to get these officers indicted, arrested and convicted. During the press conference Crump sounded more interested in patting himself on the back for getting such a large settlement than going after the officers.

Had there been no settlement, Noel Leader stated the family attorney would be able to depose these officers, in a civil proceeding, and ask them the hard hitting questions should the district attorney refuse to prosecute. He reminded viewers that Bill Cosby is in jail, right now, because of statements he made during a deposition! However, by getting the settlement first, which is putting the cart before the horse, it negates any chances of the family being able to do question officers.

Noel Leader says that taking the money, first, is a tactical error on the part of the family. The mission should be to get the officers jailed and then fight for a settlement. By the way, Kentucky taxpayers will be paying Breonna Taylor's family!

Yet, again, the police never have to face any arrests and they are not penalized, financially!

Of course, all of the celebrities and protesters are wondering what's next? They want more than just the settlement. They want these officers jailed! But, as long as the same players/actors are involved in these cases then, they will yield the same results: profiting from police murder victims.

When they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe;" but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say: "We are really with you: We (were) only jesting." (Holy Qur'an: 2:14)

Kroger sued for firing workers who refused to wear the rainbow symbol that represents support of the Gay and Lesbian community.

Kroger, one of the country's largest supermarket chains, is being sued in federal court after two former employees claimed they were wrongfully terminated for refusing to wear an apron with a rainbow symbol.

The suit says the ex-employees, who identify as Christian, cited religious objections in their refusal to wear the rainbow symbol because it is an "endorsement of the LGBTQ community" and they have a "religious belief that homosexuality is a sin".

The suit accuses the supermarket chain of religious discrimination.

Guidance by Sis. Yasmin.

Asma daughter of Abu Bakr (R.A.)
A Role Model for Women.
By: ABU TARIQ HIJAZI. (With thanks to sis. Yasmin.)

From Bilal to Sumayya, the history of Islam is replete with sacrifices rendered by the companions of the Prophet.(may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).

Asma bint Abu Bakr ( R.A.) has a special position among the early Muslims, her sacrifices for Islam are numerous. Asma ( R.A.) was the daughter of Abu Bakr and sister of Ummul Momineen Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with them both). She was the mother of Caliph Abdullah bin Zubair.
Her four generations were companions. She was the 18th person to enter into the fold of Islam. Asma ( R.A.) supported Islam from her early age. She played a key role in the migration of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Asma (R.A.) was entrusted to carry food for Abu Bakr (R.A.) and the Prophet (peace be upon him) who were hiding in Cave 'Thawr'. [ Jabal
Thawr (جبل ثور‎) ] The cave was about three miles away on a mountainous track. She carried food daily for three days, though she was seven months pregnant ! The last day when Asma (R.A.) prepared their travel provisions and water skin there was no rope to tie them. She tore her 'Nitaq' (waist belt) into two pieces and tied the bag with one.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw it, he smiled and told her...
"Indeed, Allah has given you, in exchange for this girdle, two belts in Paradise."! And thus she was named as "Zu Nataqain" (The Lady of Two Belts). She kept this honorable title for her whole life.

After the two left Thawr cave, Abu Jahl came in searching for them and slapped Asma (R.A.) so hard that blood oozed from her ears. Bearing the pain with courage and tolerance, she did not disclose the secret.

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) reached 'Quba' near 'Madinah', he invited a group that included his daughters and Asma (RA) accompanied them. When they reached near 'Quba', she gave birth to a boy named Abdullah bin Zubair. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was very happy. He took the baby in his lap and gave a bit of date chewed by him in the mouth of the baby. Abdullah was the first baby born to Muhajirin in Madinah.

Zubair ibn Al-Awwam, her husband, migrated to Madinah empty handed leaving everything in Makkah. Asma (RA) spent a hard time in the beginning. The daughter of a rich man found herself tending animals, kneading, grinding and fetching water. She used to carry on her head date-stones from their land at a distance of two miles from Madinah. The real test of Asma's (RA) tolerance and patience appeared after the martyrdom of Hussein ibn Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) at Karbala. She was then about 90 years of age.
After the tragedy of Karbala, people gathered around her son, Abdullah bin Zubair knowing him as a learned, powerful and brave man. He succeeded in winning the support of Makkah and Madinah.

Eventually, Abdullah consolidated his power in Iraq, Hijaz, southern Arabia, the greater part of Syria and parts of Egypt.
Asma (RA) advised her son before the fight against the Damascus ruler Abdul Malik bin Marwan saying she will be grieving for him only if he is killed in a vain and for an unjust cause.
"Death with honor is better than a life of peace with dishonor."
Abdullah went forward to fight against Marwan's commander Hajaj bin Yusuf and kept fighting until he was martyred.
The cruel Hajaj beheaded him and hanged his body on a tree. He declared, "No one should take down his body except Asma, (RA)... she must come to me and ask my permission.
Asma (RA) refused to go. Eventually Hajaj came to her and asked,
"What do you say about this matter ?" She boldly replied, "Verily, you have destroyed him and you have ruined his life, and with that you have ruined your Hereafter." She added that she had heard the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) saying that... "A man would appear from the tribe of Banu Thaqif who would be a liar and a cruel and ignoble barbarian. Today she has seen him for herself." Hajaj bin Yusuf left silently. Later Hajaj dropped the body into the graveyard She arranged for its bathing, funeral prayer and buried with her hands her son Abdullah bin Zubair in Makkah. Asma (RA) died a few days after burying her son, in 73 AH.
She was 100 years old but never lost her memory and had a full set of teeth. She took part in the Battle of Yarmuk in 636 AC and fought bravely which drove the Roman Empire out of Syria. She is the narrator of 58 'Hadiths', and many leading men related 'Hadith' from her.
In a corner of Jannatul Muala a small grave marks this great lady.

Asma bint Abu Bakr (RA) was really a great role model for the Muslim women..While proceeding to Jabal Thawr you will find a sign on the road named Zu Nataqain Street. And this is the path which was trodden by this great lady to carry the provisions to Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) to 'Jabal Thawr' (جبل ثور‎)

Please stop for a moment in this place and pray for these noble souls.
May Almighty Allah grant them the highest ranks in Paradise...
Aameen'.
"O you who believe! Be patient, and excel in patience, and remain steadfast and fear Allah, that you may be successful." [Qur'an 3:200)

Hadith of the Week

Narrated by Sahl bin Sa'd As-Sa'id, r.a.:

A man passed by Allah's Apostle and the Prophet asked a man sitting beside him, "What is your opinion about this (passer-by)?"

He replied, "This (passer-by) is from the noble class of people. By Allah, if he should ask for a lady's hand in marriage, he ought to be given her in marriage, and if he intercedes for somebody, his intercession will be accepted".

Allah's Apostle kept quiet, and then another man passed by and Allah's Apostle asked the same man (his companion) again, "What is your opinion about this (second) one?"

He said, "O Allah's Apostle! This person is one of the poor Muslims. If he should ask a lady's hand in marriage, no-one will accept him, and if he intercedes for somebody, no one will accept his intercession, and if he talks, no-one will listen to his talk." Then Allah's Apostle said, "This (poor man) is better than such a large number of the first type (i.e. rich men) as to fill the earth."

Emirati and Arab NGOs launch an online campaign in solidarity with Palestinians.

Over one million people have signed an online charter against normalisation with Israel, according to an Emirati civil society group.

The launch of the Palestine Charter comes the same week as both the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain officially signed normalisation agreements - named the Abraham Accords - with Israel at a White House ceremony.

The charter's creator, an Emirati grassroots organisation called the UAE Anti-Normalisation Association, has launched a Twitter hashtag titled "people against normalisation", urging followers to add their signatures.

 Movie Review

ROOM.
A shocking Movie.
Movie on Oppression of Women in America: Reflects real life Events.

After being abducted seven years ago, a young woman is held captive in a sparsely furnished and cramped suburban garden shed along with her now-kindergarten-aged son. Repeatedly raped and without access to the outside world save for a rickety TV with spotty reception, she plots their escape from the monster who has imprisoned them. This is only a basic blueprint of what unfolds in "Room," an intensely felt cinematic experience.

The spare yet emotionally sumptuous drama, based on Irish-Canadian author Emma Donoghue's award-winning 2010 novel that was inspired by similar real-life crimes, is not just a simple tale of terror or a suspenseful saga of survival, although it has elements of each scenario. Instead. "Room" is a soul-searing celebration of the impenetrable bond that endures even under the most unbearable of circumstances between a parent and a child.
