Afghanistan: Heaviest British Loss [from Urdu language papers.]
On September 1, Taliban shot down a NATO aircraft, identified as a
Nimrod MR2 usually used for reconnaissance. Fourteen British troops,
including three airmen, were killed. The Taliban claim that they
used a Stinger, probably left over from the anti-Soviet Jihad.
Even more spectacular, a week back, a low flying Dutch F-16, on a
strafing mission, was shot down. The pilot was unable to eject.
NATO has adopted the policy of declaring each crash an "accident"
but this declaration is made so quickly that it creates doubts
about how could NATO know right away?
IRAQ: Situation Getting Worse by the Day for the U.S.

The Pentagon revealed that 64 U.S. troops were killed in Iraq in
August, raising the total to 2640. Another 3 have been killed in
September. It appears that the new leader of Al-Qaida in Iraq,
al-Masri [the Egyptian] has re-organized the Islamic resistance.
On September 3, the U.S. said it had captured his second-in-command
al-Sayeedi and killed several others. The censorship on the
details of U.S. losses: how, where, indicates the situation
is bad for the U.S.
The Shi'ite hit squads are still busy killing Sunnis by the dozen
every night, with the tacit approval of the U.S.-installed regime,
trying to "cleanse' the Baghdad area of Sunnis. Sunni
counterattacks have killed several hundred U.S-backed Shi'a police
and military in one week, along with scores of innocents.
Civil order seems to have broken down. U.S. media report that on
September 2, ten Pakistanis and 3 Indians going to pilgrimage in
Kerbala were killed by bandits in the desert.
Earler, a bitter battle occurred among pro-U.S. and pro-Sadr Shias,
resulting in 50 U.S.-backed Shias and 21 "Sadris" killed. The Shia
areas are not fighting the U.S. but are still very tense.
PALESTINE: Imam Badi Ali [North Carolina], notes that
Hamas seems to have lost the will to resist as Israelis come
in every day and murder Islamic activists, sometimes in front of
their homes and families. Election victory under occupation has
made Hamas passive in an effort to keep its government.
[This is like the Jamaate Islami government in Pakistan's
Frontier Province. Elected to support the Taliban, it completely
withdrew support from the Taliban and started building its
own bureaucracy.]
Resistance is more important than titles and positions for
Palestinans but Hamas is losing its way, says Imam Ali.

for the number of people at the Convention are being repeated by
all three Zionist networks, CNN, MSNBC and Fox.

them as terrorists. How inept the Canadian White man can be came
out in a Reuters report on August 30: During an Air Canada flight,
the pilot LOCKED HIMSELF OUT of his cockpit when he went to the rest
room. He couldn't get back in. The door of the cockpit had to be
taken off to let him get back in so that he could continue to
fly the plane.
2. USA has found an answer to Adam Ghadan, an American Muslim,
who keeps appearing on Islamic web sites to lecture America. On
September 2, Adam appeared on a web site with Islamic leader Ayman
al-Zawahiri. Al-Zawahiri merely introduced Adam for only a minute
after which Adam gave a 46 miniute lecture on Islam urging Americans
to give up their corrupt ways and accept Islam. The lecture was
either too scary or too effective because U.S. media cut off almost
all of it. In return, the Zionist media have a "weapon" of their
own. His name is Haitham Bundakji and he claims to be an "imam" at
the Islamic Society of Orange County, near Los Angeles.
So whenever Adam Ghadan appears, looking handsome and impressive in
his turban with a powerful beard, the media respond with Haitham
Bundakji. He wears a suit and tie, very dull colors, has a big
moustache and is clean shaven. Bundakji's claim to fame is that when
Adam embraced Islam and expressed dissatisfaction with the Islamic
Society, Bundakji tried to correct him. Poor Bundakji was slapped in
the face by Adam [which also proves, according to the Zionist media,
that he, Adam, is a terrorist]. This time Bundakji tried hard to
condemn the extremist Adam. Bundakji said: "We do not want people
like him."
[New Trend's suggestion to the Zionist media: Put Bundakji on Zionist
TV screens around the world so that secular, democratic Bundakji
may defeat all the Adams of the world, the Islamists who are
leaving their homes to go to the mountains of Afghanistan.
Bundakji's face will convince the Muslims that democracy and
secularism are wonderful, and ties and shaven faces look better
than turbans and beards. [LOL!]
3. Krauthammer, FOX TV, is the leading Zionist pro-war war

re-trial. There is a good chance that the Imam can be re-tried.
Readers might remember that the court had not accepted important
evidence coming from the person who saw the incident for which
the Imam was charged and called 9.11. If that witness is accepted
by the court now, a new trial could occur.

Islamic Activist Writes JetBlue:
Denial of Access to Arab Youth Owing to T-Shirt
On August 12, 2006, an Arab human rights activist was denied
access on a JetBlue flight from JFK Airport [New York] to
Oakland, California simply for wearing a t-shirt that read
"We will not be silent" in Arabic and English. My response to
Jetblue is below.

I was distressed to read in Metro (08/31/2006 edition) the article
under the headline: "Man told he can't fly with Arabic T-shirt on."
According to the article, Raed Jarrar wore a t-shirt that
read "We will not be silent" in Arabic and English. He was stopped
as he was about to board his JetBlue flight from JFK airport to
Oakland, CA on August 12, 2006.
In the article, JetBlue spokeswoman, Jenny Dervin, acknowledged that
the incident occurred and that there would be an investigation. She
further stated that the incident occurred just two days after the
British authorities announced the foiling of the plot to blow up
jetliners over the Atlantic destined to the U.S. Ms. Dervin admitted
that JetBlue has no policy regarding apparel.
Not only did your airline's racism and paranoia prevent this paying
customer from boarding his flight but, according to your policy he
is not entitled to a refund but only credit for his next trip. The
airport security accosted your paying customer because you
instructed them to do so.
Since 2003, I have been a loyal JetBlue customer and I have highly
recommended your services to family and friends. However, I intend
to make everyone I know aware of JetBlue's policy to violate paying
customers rights to free speech based on racism and cultural bias.
I refuse to fly any airline that practices such racist policies!
The airport ban has been on liquid products not a t-shirt with
foreign writing on it. There is no valid excuse for refusing this
man his right to take the flight that he paid for unless it was
based on racial bias. He certainly was not perceived as a terrorist
threat according to any Transportation Security Administration
guidelines. I am appalled that JetBlue personnel overreacted in
such a despicable manner.

Revolutionary Khutba: Latest in a Series
Islam: Religion of Peace, Stands against Oppression.
No Compromise with Taghoot. Anaysis of the Strategies
of Anti-Islam Think Tanks: Burqa, 'moderate Islam,' Hadith
The most recent Friday [juma'] khutba by Br. Kaukab Siddique was
at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland on September 1,
2006. Although students have just arrived at the campus for Fall
Semester, the Muslims among them, both brothers and sisters, turned
up for the Juma'. Here are the main points of the khutba.
Part 1 of the Khutba:
TEXT: "For We [Allah] certainly sent among every people a messenger
[with the command], 'Serve Allah and strictly stay away from
Taghoot." [The Qur'an 16:36]
Yes, Islam is a religion of peace. It gives spiritual peace and
stability to the Muslim through the five daily prayers.
Yes, Islam is a religion of peace. Muslims respect the rights of
their neighbors and of the society in which they live. They do not
abuse or insult or attack the religions of others.
Yes, Islam is a religion of peace. Muslims can be trusted. Muslims
do not break the law. They do not cheat or lie or steal. They do
not drink, fornicate or gamble.
Peace does not mean that we should bow down before oppressors. We
bow before Allah alone.
Peace does not mean that we try to ASSIMILATE and become like others.
This country does not belong to any one race or way of life. The
whole earth belongs to Allah.
Peace does not mean that we start saying that Islam is not very
different from Christianity and Judaism and that these are all
Abrahamic religions. No, we have come with the Truth [al-Haqq]
not to follow the unbelievers. Our identity must be respected
as distinct, different and unique.
We are here to solve America's problems, not to become part of
the problem. Racism is at the roots of America. The Katrina
disaster showed that racism is alive and well in USA. Note
how Black leaders are not allowed on TV to discuss Katrina, just
as Islamic activists are not allowed on media to speak on
Palestine or Afghanistan. Immigrants must read the Autobiography
of Malcolm X to understand how deep racism is here.
Peace does not mean that we give a "bloc vote" to Abu Jahl, and
when he turns against us, we turn to Abu Lahab, and if he kicks
us, then we turn to Abu Sufian. We have clear guidance in the
Qur'an and the Hadith. We don't need to follow those who are
themselves astray.
Muslim intellectuals have a a duty to analyze the forces which
are working against Islam in America. A leading think tank
linked to intelligence services, RAND Corporation, provided
the formula which is behind the daily attacks on Islam. Its
main points were:
1. Divide the Muslims with labels like "fundamentalist,"
"extremist," "moderate," progressive."
2. Create an "American Islam" or a "moderate Islam." Support those
who are assimilating or are alienated.
3. Attack Hadith because most American Muslims do not know how to
study and understand Hadith.
The U.S. government started a huge media campaign to attack the
burqa of Afghan women as if it was invented by the Taliban.
It was a cynical excuse to justify aggression against a
defenseless country. Thousands of Afghan civilians, including
women in burqa, were killed in the U.S. bombing.
An anthropologist, Dr. Lila Abu-Lughod, has exposed. the
hollowness of the arguments against the burqa. Whatever social
changes emerge in Muslim countries, must come from within the
Qur'an and Hadith, and not be imposed by invaders. The U.S.
should have learned this from the fate of the Soviets. The
Taliban are now coming back, quite undefeated.
OUR ANSWER to Rand Corporation: There is only ONE ISLAM and that
is the Islam brought by Muhammad, pbuh, which is eternalized in
the Qur'an and interpreted in the Hadith.
OUR ANSWER to the oppressors: There is only ONE UMMAH; there is no
such thing as an American Islam or a Pakistani Islam.
PART 2 of the Khutba:
TEXT: "The believers, men and WOMEN, are protectors/guardians of
EACH OTHER: they stand for what is just and they forbid
wrong-doing....' [9:71]
The enemies of Islam have found that one of our major weaknesses
is the way we treat WOMEN. Many Muslims are mentally still in the
colonial era, the time of slavery, and do not give women the
rights, the Qur'an and Hadith have given them.
Our enemies pretend that they care for Muslim women and they try
to intervene in Muslim communities and Muslim countries through
this pretense.
Women in America are the victims of mass sexual objectfication. If
these people do not care for the women of America, on what moral
basis can they try to liberate Muslim women?
Muslims must realize that in many Muslim countries, the inheritance
rights for women, as wives, daughters, mothers, aunts, which are
enhrined in the Qur'an, are being denied or evaded.
To stop the distribution of wealth ordered by the Qur'an, Muslims
marry their cousins to keep wealth restricted to their families.
Women's rights to an equal place in the masjid are still
being denied. As a result, women who are in the imperialist
ambit are trying to claim leadership of women.
Notice that the FIRST MARTYR of Islam was a woman, Sumayya,
may Allah be pleased with her. She was a slave woman but her mind
was so strong that she defied her slave master and stood fast on
Islamic teachings. Finally when the slave master abused the
Prophet, pbuh, in her presence, she, though helpless, spat in
the slave master's face. Martyrdom is highest in the Islamic
ranks of merit, second only to prophethood [which has ended].
When Sumayya, r.a., though a helpless slave, would not submit
to the tyrant, on what basis do we go around kow towing to the
White House, the Pentagon and the State Department?
Under the U.S. Constitution, we have the right to speak, write,
organize, demonstrate peacefully. Islam makes it our duty
to speak out.
For believers, there cannot be any subservience to the Pharoah
in the White House, nor any silence before the liars on TV and
radio. We must celebrate the Islamic victory in Lebanon. The
Israeli tank columns could not break through. The arrogance of
the Zionists has been brought low.
Remember that the Muslims are not trying to take over any non-Muslim
land. Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Palestine, Lebanon are
all Muslim lands. The struggle to expel occupation forces from
these lands is a just struggle of which U.S. Muslims should be
proud and supportive.
Islam does not permit the imposition of religion on anyone. No one
is trying to impose Islam on Christians, Jews, Hindus or Buddhists.
The struggle, Jihad in Arabic, as stated in the Qur'an is clearly
against OPPRESSION, condemns the violation of human rights, and
commands resistance to occupation and usurpation.
So, as the Prophet, pbuh, said to Hassan ibn Thabit, r.a., 'O
Hassan, do their Hujw.' Hujw is a form of poetry meant to expose
the inner contradictions and crimes of the oppressors.
O Muslims, SPEAK OUT against the oppressive actions of the people
in power. That is not politics but an essential and obligatory
part of Islam.

ISNA and its "Fiqh Council" apostasized from Islam by refusing to
accept Qur'an and Sunnah as the basis for moonsighting decisions.
Insha'Allah, the following session at Islam Online will be a good
time to ask ISNA leaders to end the "moon calculation" fitnah that
ISNA is attempting to foist upon Muslims in North America.

Siddiqi back to Islam. Make du'a that he will receive
hikmat from Allah (S.W.T.), abandon his fitnah and return to Islam.
For those who don't know, it should be pointed out that the so-called
"Fiqh Council of North America" is an "ISNA-only" fiqh committee that
has no authority to make any decisions for Muslims in the U.S. Fewer
than 1/2 of one percent of all Muslims in North America (i.e., fewer
than 1 in every 400 Muslims) are ISNA members. And the "Fiqh Council"
is only a tiny part of the ISNA membership, without any actual
authority to issue fatwahs. No fatwa on Islam can be accepted from
anyone who rejects Qur'an and Sunnah. Nor can any witness be
accepted from such a person.
There are numerous actual Muslim national and continental
organizations in the United States and North America.
